Flyers and Graffiti

Over the last two weeks, there have been a few events that have resulted in some coverage in the mainstream press that would be of interest to our readers. The biggest story is the one about the flyer that was distributed by a group calling itself Immigration Watch Canada in Brampton:

"Mainstream Canadians" = white Canadians apparently
Actually, given the euphemistic name the IWC has given itself, we sort of appreciate that they decided to be so overt in their racism. Kinda puts it right out there in the open.

Condemnation of the flyer has been widespread and varied and has resulted in a police investigation, but not to worry. You see the spokesman for the group says that the flyer isn't racist and that it's the people who view the obviously racist flyer as racist who are the real problems:
"That's the standard answer that they all give. They can't think of anything else to say, so they play the race card or call you a xenophobe," Murray said in a telephone interview on Friday. "If we are going to throw around names, I'll call them a bunch of cowards and quislings –  the mainstream part of the population that engages in that type of conversation."
Yeah. Because how could one possible come to the conclusion that the ad is xenophobic? Crazy, right?

Of course the quisling accusation sort of echos the claims of people like Paulie Fromm and his fellow travellers that immigration is akin to a foreign invasion, so that doesn't help their claim to not being racist. Hell, we half expect them to start spouting off the Whitaker mantra.

And it also doesn't help your rejection of the racist label when your flyer results in Bill Noble and the folks on Stormfront showing you a little love:

McKee Associate Convicted and Sentenced in Violent Attack

Leave to go camping a for five days and look at what we missed.

There are a few stories of particular interest to our readers, such as the anti-immigration flyers in Brampton and the "Free Matt Hale" posters being put up by Wes Smith and his friends in the Southern Ontario Skineheads. We'll address those stories at a latter date. However we want to focus on the recent conviction and sentencing of two individuals involved in an attack on the founder and leader of the SOS, Max Hynes. We'll include a little bit of commentary along the way:

KITCHENER — Bad blood within a white supremacy group fuelled the vicious ambush of a former organizer in a Kitchener park almost two years ago.

The masked attack in the summer of 2012 was orchestrated by Kyle McKee, a former Kitchener resident and leader of a Calgary-based neo-Nazi group called Blood and Honour.

For someone who has been in jail as often as he has been, we're surprised that McKee was so careless. He had to have known that his jailhouse conversations would have been recorded.

Then again, maybe he wasn't the one being careless?

Jon Latvis: "I Saved Your Life Man!"

It seems like only yesterday that former Rahowa lead guitar and songwriter Jon Latvis gave mayor Ford a bit of indigestion:

When this picture was made public, Latvis tried to disavow his Nazi past and even threatened to sue Warren Kinsella which would have been awesome!

Because, you know, we would have been able to share with Mr. Kinsella, in addition to ALL of the other evidence out there, this post Latvis made a few months later:

And we would have been able to share these screen shots as well:

Burning Swastika Found in Edmonton

Any information from our readers would be welcomed:

Burning Swastika Spotted In Edmonton

The Huffington Post Alberta  |  Posted:   |  Updated: 04/23/2014 4:59 pm EDT

Edmonton police are investigating after a wooden swastika was found burning in the city's southwest over the Easter weekend.

A driver made the call to police early Monday morning after a six-by-six feet tall burning swastika was spotted at Anthony Henday westbound near the Rabbit Hill Road exit, reports Global News.

Staff Sgt. Todd Leycock told The Calgary Sun it was a "shocking" sight.

Fire crews quickly put out the fire, and the police have transferred the investigation to the Edmonton Police Hate Crimes Unit, according to Metro Edmonton.

Police would like anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Frazier Glenn Miller: Two Coinicidences

Well, one coincidence and one, perhaps, not so coincidence.

Boneheads are big on numerical symbolism and dates. The number "88" stands for "Heil Hitler." If you see a bonehead post the number, "14" he is likely referring to the "14 Words" coined by David Lane, a member of the terrorist group The Order. Tomorrow some boneheads will be celebrating 4/20 in a very different way than other people will be celebrating the day as Western rite Christians will be celebrating Easter.... oh, and of course marijuana aficionados have been been commemorating the day since 1971.

As a result we also pay attention to numbers and dates as they relate to boneheads. In most cases they mean nothing, but there are a few times where our interest is piqued. Here are two cases in point.

We already mentioned The Order above, and some of our readers will know that Frazier Glenn Miller (or Cross apparently) was associated with the terrorist group. In fact, Miller agreed to testify against members of The Order as well as other White Supremacists in a 1987 sedition trial as part of a plea agreement; he was facing 15 years for weapons violations as well as ordering a hit on some prominent civil rights activists but as a result of his plea he served only 3 years in a federal prison.

What some of our readers might not know is that Heritage Front founder Wolfgang Droege was also associated with The Order:

Frazier Glenn Miller, Supporter of Craig Cobb, Suspect in Kansas City Murders

Like a lot of people who learned about the three murders that took place in Kansas City today, we assumed that hate was a motive especially when reports that the shooter had been shouting antisemitic epithets during the shootings. The first image of the suspect wasn't very clear, however a second one we found online caused us to wonder if he was someone who we might actually know of:

And he was:

Frazier Glenn Miller has been mentioned on this blog on a number of occasions, mostly as a result of his relationship with Craig Cobb who is currently still in jail due to his activities in Leith, North Dakota. In fact Miller's last post on VNN where he is a long time member and a frequent poster (using the name, "Rounder") was concerning Cobb:

Miller was also the first whom we know of who announced that Cobb had fled Canada after the latter was arrested and charged under Sec. 319 of the country's hate crime laws.

In addition to his promotion of Cobb and his failed efforts to turn Leith into an all "White" enclave, Miller was a very vocal supporter of racist serial killer Joseph Paul Franklin who was executed earlier this year:

SUSEPECT IN KANSAS CITY SHOOTINGS IS FRAZIER GLENN MILLER!

Oh, you are going to hear a lot about this one! This isn't some guy who was hiding in the shadows. This was a clown that had served notice on society publicly and loudly for over 30 years.

One People's Project

OVERLAND PARK, KS – The shooter that shot and killed three persons at a Jewish community center and a retirement home a mile away has been identified as veteran white supremacist Frazier Glenn Miller, who once ran a white supremacist paramilitary operation before he turned FBI informant and in recent years had been seen posting regularly on a white supremacist website forum, where his last post was to note that he had spoken yesterday to Craig Cobb the white supremacist who attempted to take over a small town in North Dakota last year.

Alleged White Boy Posse Member Accused in Other Murders

It has been suggested the White Supremacy shtick and Nazi iconography of the White Boy Posse, a particularly violent gang we have featured on these pages on occasion (here, here, and here), is merely a pretext used as a means of intimidation. That may or may not be so, but it is certain that the gang is very dangerous.

Alleged member of White Boy Posse charged in 2 murders

CBC News Posted: Apr 11, 2014 4:35 PM MT Last Updated: Apr 12, 2014 2:29 PM MT

An Edmonton man who allegedly has ties to the White Boy Posse gang has been charged with murder in unrelated cases from 2008 and 2012.

Joshua Petrin, 31, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Bryan Gower, 35, whose body was found on a rural road near Kitscoty in September 2012.

He is also charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Mitchell Chambers, 23, in December 2008.

Chambers was found dead in a truck parked on the side of the road near 188 Street and 47 Avenue.Police say Chambers was shot when he drove to a woman’s house to take her to a movie.

They allege Petrin walked up to Chambers and shot him while he was waiting. They say he used to have a relationship with the woman.

Petrin was arrested in Regina where he is being held on unrelated murder charges at the remand centre.

Petrin faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of Lorry Ann Santos, a Saskatoon mother of four, who was shot dead after answering a knock at her door.

April Legal Notes

This really isn't in any way intended to be a comprehensive article. We just thought we would share some information on the legal front.

First, the deadline for Marc Lemire to seek leave to appeal to the Supreme Court (re: the Federal Court of Appeal's decision) was on April 1. However, word is that he hasn't filed anything and that it appears that he has given up. We suppose he may have forgotten as he has been busy live blogging the most recent Free Dominion defamation suit. On that case we also see that Paulie is shilling but he received a response from one of his Facebook friends who we have discussed in previous posts which isn't exactly a ringing endorsement:

On the same day, Toronto nutter Eric Brazau was convicted for wilfully promoting hatred and for harassing a Muslim family. He was sentenced to 9 months, however as he spent 9 months in pre-trial custody he was ultimately sentenced to time served. In order to protect Brazau's right to free expression the judge refused to ban him from distributing flyers, so we might not be too surprised if we find that him in the news again for similar reasons. We perhaps shouldn't be surprised either that when Brazau was arrested, Ron Banerjee was his wingman.

We also received notice concerning another appeal that is going ahead. Terry Tremaine's appeal is to be heard on May 28 in Regina at the Court House on Victoria Avenue. We actually haven't heard much from Tremaine in a while, and we can't say that we are all that disappointed by this fact.

Finally, two quick updates on Arthur Topham from the horse's mouth.... so to speak:

Topham followed his post on April 8 with the one below posted yesterday:

So we guess we'll find out in 5 days or so?

Tone Deaf: Southern Ontario Skinheads Post Videos of March

Sometimes, it really is fun to watch the boneheads self-destruct all on their own. Either through infighting or through ultimately counterproductive behavior, the final result is inevitable.

Take the blowback from the failed "White Man's March" that took place last month. The event was really an unmitigated disaster no matter how those in the movement try to spin it. The only people who actually seems genuinely pleased with the outcome of the march in Canada were John Beattie, Paulie Fromm, and the mouth-breathers in the Southern Ontario Skinheads. But even this resulted in a fair amount of online bickering as Beattie, who if we are to be fair is not exactly much of a player in the Canadian scene. That didn't stop both Paulie and the SOS responded then and some other SOS members responded again later:

The crux of Beattie's concern is that he argues, in all honestly correctly, that overt links to Nazism hurts the cause of, "White Nationalists." So Beattie believes while the Neo-Nazi boneheads will one day serve the purpose of protecting the big thinkers like himself (because he actually views himself as a big thinker), they should leave the public relation stunts to folks like Kyle Hunt who organized the White Man's March.

Because certainly Kyle Hunt wouldn't have anything to do with something as distasteful as the Neo-Nazi movement, right?

Well, Beattie might have to get used to being disappointed:

So really, these guys participating in an event in which boneheads are indeed welcome shouldn't be all that much of a shock:

Managed to get the last name we were not certain about.
So, let's shift our focus back to the Southern Ontario Skinheads, shall we?

The life span of groups like the SOS are between 6 months and 3 years, though a few manage to make it to 5 years. They ultimately fail in large part as a result of the inadequacies of the membership itself. Thus far there is nothing in the SOS that lead us to conclude they will be no different. In fact, given what we've seen we think they are already setting up their own imminent collapse.

Much of the membership itself has some problems with self-control. As members of a gang SOS members derive a sense of power as being part of a larger group. And when they feel empowered, they attempt to intimidate (and threaten) their opposition into silence:

It also doesn't help that a number of the folks now in or associated with the SOS have rather extensive criminal records, including one of their more recent members:

Long term survival in groups such as the SOS require self-control and regulation. Does anyone believe the SOS are capable of these feats?

But you don't have to take our word for it. How about from the horses' mouth? In addition to the few photos they posted online, the SOS decided it would be a good idea to video their march through the streets of Kingston. Because, you know, how could that go poorly?

Complaining about the cold? Come on! Do you think Ragnar Lothbrok would complain about the cold? Some viking warriors you guys are!

The following videos are really the ones that are indicative of the mind set of the SOS membership. As you're watching these videos, we want you to consider how the average Kingston resident would react to a gang such as this walking down the street:

April 2014 Bites and Bites

You know, Paulie really isn't trying anymore. Point of fact is he hasn't been trying for a few years. There was a time when he tried at least to maintain a semblance of mainstream respectability, but it looks like those times have long past.

This weekend, Paulie is speaking at a Tom Robb's Klan gathering in Arkansas. Though this in and of itself isn't exactly anything new, the subject matter of his speech has certainly become much more overt:

Diane King, eh? Uhm, wasn't Paulie married to Diane at one time? We wonder what happened (hint, we don't actually wonder what happened).

But you know, maybe we're overselling this a bit?

Or maybe not?

Closer to home, the Goudreau finally decided to respond to Luke Northmore's accusations from a few months back:

We're sure that Luke responded with the measured restraint we've come to expect from him:
