The Goudreau is Aggrieved

We're currently working on collecting information for an article on the Soldiers of Odin in Saskatchewan, specifically the leadership in Moose Jaw and the connection to the neo-Nazi movement in this country and abroad, however we thought we'd share something that came across our desk and caused us to collectively giggle.

Last month we reported that Kevin "Not in the Face!" Goudreau found himself in a rather unfortunate altercation that resulted in his arrest.

In addition to posting screen shots of witnesses which were all pretty consistent, we also reached out to the person the Goudreau assaulted:
At the time I posted that [the update on Facebook], he had not been arrested. He came back later in the night, at which point he was arrested. I know he is awaiting trial on December 8th.
Other than being violent, I found him to be a caricature of something he couldn't possibly be. He tried this staring thing with me. It was pretty funny. It seemed like he thought he was hypnotizing me or something.

No, that doesn't sound at all like the Goudreau, does it?

In any case, the Goudreau (who wasn't active on social media for some time after his arrest) eventually provided his take on the events of the day in question which were TOTALLY believable!

Nice to see Paul Fromm championing someone admitting to an assault
Right.......

Well, only now has the Goudreau gotten around to addressing our article concerning his arrest, posting the following an hour ago:

So, he claims he was assaulted, but then says he's serving a 60 day sentence on weekends

Ohhhhh, a Danier leather jacket! Well that certainly changes everything.

Shall we add this to yet the list of threats the Goudreau has made towards us and others?

Kevin. Baby.

We aren't in the least worried.

who is this guy and how is he connected to soldiers of odin ? ...your media coverage is sloppy at best on this write up ... and anti racist canada ..have you actually done your homework ...we are a very mixed ethnicity in our chapters ..i am not sure why you are still hung up on past garbage media pertaining to some kicked out European members ...not canadians ..who you declare in your name you are reporting for and about ...just to clarify and spell it out for you ...we are not racist ..we have every almost every etnicity within our chapters and we do not go marching up and down the streets around with swastikas... we have care packages and warm clothing for our less fortunate ...maybe before you write something and post it you should do some research first and know your facts ... good luck

Uhm.... Goudreau has nothing to do with the Soldiers of Odin as far as we know.

Do you think that ARC only talks about you guys? It isn't hard to see that we've been around for years. We've been around a lot longer than the Soldiers of Odin and will be here long after you guys disappear.

And as for the SOO commitment to diversity, here's another one of your leaders:

Good luck with that.

And you can screen shot anything you wish, just so you realize that on our site, we're under no obligation to post anything from you. Think of yourself as a guest who will be punted from our home if you're an asshole.

Just because you don't like the media coverage doesn't mean it ain't true. Maybe you folks should research the members in your little gang a bit better. You're failure to do so makes it very easy for us.

FYI this Jody Issel person you claim to be the Moose Jaw president of SOO is not even a member let alone a president. Do you guys just make this shit up or what ...? And I see you claim that you didn't say that this "Kevin " person is a part of SOO as Kazmir asked about. But you set up your article about this racist asshat with his pic and our name attached to it so you see his dumb mug and our name as one . You're a real peace of work huh. This pages legitimacy is non existent along with your friends in Antifa . Have a great day story tellers ✋

Right. We only posted a screenshot in which the co-leader of the Saskatchewan SOO named Issel Moose Jaw SOO President and that he organized an SOO "patrol" in Moose Jaw that other members of the gang commented on in both public and private Facebook groups. Oh, and he wears the "gear" without any criticism from other SOO leaders, and he seems to have a working relationship (of sorts) with Ryen Ward who is the Regina SOO president.

However could we think that Jody Issel was a member of the SOO? /sarc

You might wish to re-read the first part of the Goudreau article. To paraphrase, we wrote that we were WORKING on an upcoming SOO article, HOWEVER we wanted to share another quick article before the SOO article was published.

It would appear the refugees that you idiots rail against are more functionally literate in the English language than you boneheads are.

Good grief. Basic comprehension skills are seriously lacking. (I wrote that slow, so the SOO guys could read it.)

I applaud the work of ARC on both the articles and management of comments. In my experience, to date, with the Soldiers of Odin in Canada are that they are not that sophisticated in their thinking, nor their ability to engage in complex areas of law and political issues. Unfortunately the SOO contributes to creating a hostile atmosphere and unsafe environment for new comers (recent immigrants and migrants).

It appears that Kaz and others in the SOO have difficulty contending with any form of logical critique of their organization's conduct, structure and purpose.

It is rather unfortunate that people are duped by the likes of this wannabe hybrid gang of Right Wing Extremism meets Sons of Anarchy, aka Soldiers of Odin.

Perhaps one day members of the SOO will realize that (1) their selected banner was (a) idiotic, and (b) foolish, and (2) the public will not be duped due to pushback and exposure from (a) citizens who see through the BS purported by SOO leadership, and (b) people who actually understand contexts of law, society, politics, and extremism.
