So What Are Canadian Identitarians Up To Lately?

Back on March 10 I wrote an article in response to messages ARC received such as these concerning Students For Western Civilization:

My response included screenshots from the Unicorn Riot Discord chat leaks which indicated that Students For Western Civilization was very much a part of a movement that included such groups as Identity Evropa (now rebranded as the American Identity Movement), Generation Identity (which in Canada rebranded as ID Canada), and other hate groups. The leader of SFWC, George Hutcheson, was once of the speakers at the Leading Our People Forward conference as an example:

Patrick Casey, posting in Discord as "Reindhard Wolff" is the leader of the American Identity Movement (again, formerly Identity Evropa) who posts comments such as these which really allow readers to get a strong sense of the man's.... er.... character? I guess?

And of course SFWC was also a group that was discussed on the Montreal Storm server featuring "Date" and "Zeiger" among others.

Well after an extended silence SFWC decided to pop their heads out to see if there's a shadow several months too late:

Sigh....

Is there a more clear example of a first world problem or white privilege than the current trend of racists being banned from social media for violating the terms of service (for which they had been treated with kid gloves for years, mind you) now threatening to sue because said private business gave them the boot?

Yeah, and WE'RE the snowflakes.

By the way, YVCE also noted the following:

I don't suspect they will get very far with this proposed lawsuit which seems more like a desperate publicity stunt than an actual thing, though I'm sure they could find a lawyer willing to take their money knowing it is a lost cause. George's friend, who knows full well the consequences of filing baseless lawsuits, should probably talk some sense into hims:

Right.

That's likely not going to happen.

As long as I'm here, I thought that it might also be fun to post the more recent Discord chat logs concerning Goldy and the attitude toward her mayoral campaign. Much of the discussion involves her association with ID Canada which has been discussed on this blog.

Offered with no commentary:

With friends like these, eh?

May 2019 Bits and Bites: Michele Tittler, the III%ers, Northern Guard and Robert Jones, and More

This is going to be long and disjointed. I'm also going to miss a lot of stories others are covering. Still, I thought it appropriate to provide a brief summary of what is happening on the far-right during the latter month of May. For starters, this happened:

I'm not holding my breath that anything will actually happen, but I may very well be surprised.

Anyways....

Marc "Tyler" Malenfant of Yellow Vests Canada: The Dangers of Dehumanization

I still plan on posting a report on the events of last week in Ottawa, however I thought I'd first dive back into the reactionary Yellow Vests Canada Facebook page created and administered by Marc "Tyler" Malenfant. Malenfant was one of the early boosters of the Yellow Vest Convoy to Ottawa which rebranded as United We Roll. As the folks at Yellow Vests Canada Exposed have noted, there is a lot of infighting now regarding the distributions of funds by the the man who is the face of the protest movement and Malenfant comes out to defend him in his usual over-the-top manner:

For Malenfant, there always has to be an enemy and a dark, sinister, conspiracy that he discusses using over-the-top hyperbole, nonsensical generalizations, outright lies, and logical fallacies such as creating a strawman. It has become the hallmark of his online presence. I provide a few other recent posts on the Facebook group as illustrative examples:

"Even better."

"Even more."

What does any of what he wrote there even mean?

Malenfant's rhetoric appears to becoming increasingly.... odd?Unhinged? Evangelical, end time, apocalyptic?

Take for example the "pep talk" he gave to members of the Yellow Vests Canada Facebook group prior to the Ottawa convoy:

Yellow Vesters and Others, Including (Former?) Soldier Continuing to Engage In Assassination Fantasies

On Thursday, Privy Council Clerk Michael Wernick appeared before the House of Commons justice committee to address questions concerning SNC-Lavalin, however he also discussed the increasingly dangerous political climate specifically referring to an incident during the United We Roll/Yellow Vests rally that occurred earlier in the week:

Wernick spoke about his concern that the language being used by some politicians were examples of, "violence-inciting rhetoric that may lead to an assassination during the upcoming federal election campaign." A number of politicians on the right criticized Mr. Wernick as well as others who echoed his concerns:

Of course this blog as well as Yellow Vests Canada Exposed, the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, and a number of journalist have already provided ample evidence for Mr. Wernick's and Ms. Khalid's statements:

Mr. Wernick's concerns were dismissed by Yellow Vests Canada founder and Facebook group administrator Marc "Tyler" Malenfant who suggested that any attempt to murder a Canadian politician would be a "false flag" which is the claim made by similar groups whenever the toxic rhetoric results in a real world tragedy. Not surprisingly he used the recent case of Jussie Smollett to make his point:

Also not surprisingly, those posting responded agreed:

Of course one can already see the problem with Malenfant's claim in that even in this thread many reactionary Yellow Vest members are openly hoping for the assassination of the prime minister. Also problematic is that prior to Malenfant suggesting that any attempt to murder Trudeau would be a false flag, the topic was already being discussed on the group's Facebook page:

There are two threads responding to this specific link. I would first note that it is a link not to a reputable news site, but that of the Cultural Action Party, a fringe ethnic nationalist party run by Brad Salzberg who has ties to hate groups including the Soldiers of Odin and the Worldwide Coalition Against Islam. The title itself is misleading; Mr. Wernick wasn't specifically referring to the SNC-Lavalin situation but to the general political atmosphere. Also, while Wernick doesn't specifially refer to Trudeau, those commenting assume that he is referring to the prime minister as the potential target and theeyyyyy LOVE that!

There is also a longer second thread referring to the same Cultural Action Party link:

Yellow Jackets Canada Facebook Group Founder/Administrator Marc "Tyler" Malenfant: A Lying Liar Who Lies

I don't know why I continue to be both surprised and amused by Marc "Tyler" Malenfant's repeted claims that the racist and antisemitic posts he made to two news article back in 2015 are fake. For example when the "StarMetro Edmonton" confronted him, this happened:
The Yellow Vests Canada Facebook page lists a “Tyler Malenfant” as its administrator. The same Facebook profile was used to post comments on an Al Jazeera news article about a Jewish conspiracy to “destroy” Christianity and replace North America’s white majority through a concerted effort of mass migration.
When asked about his comments on the news article, the user of the profile deleted the comments and denied they ever existed. The user said the screenshots StarMetro took were fake.
This claim that the screenshots were "fake" or "fraudulent" were also made to CANADALAND which published an article this past Monday:
Malenfant has a history of racist, anti-Semitic, and bigoted comments online, as painstakingly documented by Anti-Racist Canada, a long-running project tracking the country’s far right.
Asked by CANADALAND about these statements, Malenfant claims that Anti-Racist Canada’s screenshots are “fake” and “a fabrication”; he previously said the same thing to StarMetro Edmonton about screenshots they themselves took.
Of course as CANADALAND noted, ARC had documented all of this three years prior to the existance of the Yellow Vests movement, the reactionary Canadian co-opting of the movement, and Malenfant's involvement in said co-opted movement. In other words, I had to know three years in advance that Marc "Tyler" Malenfant would be a player in a future far-right protest movement and preemptively fake screenshots to discredit him in the future. Not only me, but one other blogger as well.

I mean, I'm good, but I'm not fucking Nostradamus.

Malenfant, just off a forced Facebook vacation, posted the following missive denouncing the claims made against him:

While I can't say anything about this....

.... I sure as hell have more to say about this:

Yeah.... let's explore that, shall we?

Now Malenfant has deleted all of the screen shots from the Al-Jazeera article (and it looks like "Vice" removed all of the comments) though one can still see replies to Malenfant. That said I did take screen shots of all of them which can be found in the article from 2015. This one was among them:

Dmitri Balitsky was also a subject in that 2015 article. Based on Malenfant's invitation to participate in the discussion it is clear that he had a friendly relationship with Balitsky as well which we will be exploring. In the meantime it might be instructive to reacquaint readers with Balitsky.

Yellow Vests Canada Admin Marc "Tyler" Malenfant's Paranoia Disturbing and Enlightening

With news last week that the "slightly" more rational truck convoy to Ottawa was being cancelled, we were left with the (and please forgive my use of arcane jargon) bat-fucking-insane Yellow Vest convoy remaining because what could possibly go wrong with that?

In any case, one person who is celebrating is Marc "Tyler" Malenfant who is continuing to push the event on the Facebook group he created:

Malenfant has taken to posting lengthy missives on the Facebook group he administers such as the following in which he (a) encourages people to "yell" at the prime minister whom he accuses of treason (b) appears to encourage a violent revolution and (c) engages in wild conspiracy theories including those found in the discredited PizzaGate and QAnon (such as accusing Trudeau of being a pedophile):

Of course, the claims Malenfant is making regarding why Trudeau is guilty of treason are either lies, mischaracterizations of what he said, and/or divorced from objective reality.

These attributes characterize Malenfant's paranoia as well as many of those who are found in his group. Here are a couple of other examples:

Yellow Vest Reactionaries Still Posting Their Murder Fantasies To Main Group

First, it looks perhaps like Mr. Malenfant has some explaining to do:

The Yellow Vest reactionaries are being called out for the threats to murder Trudeau (as well as members of his cabinet, Liberal MPs, NDP MPS, journalists, etc), however as noted in a recent article they continue to deny the existence of these threats even when it is easy to search for them.

Sometimes the denial of reality is damn near surreal:

First, "racism does not exist in Canada."

This is something that someone actually wrote, presumably with a straight face.

Second, nobody wants the Prime Minister dead. So all the posts demanding his execution for treason (treason as defined by this crowd as "we don't like you or agree with legitimate legislation your government has passed as well as blaming you for things out of your control and any crazy conspiracy we can think of"), lynching him, and assassinating him are all metaphorical.

Right....

Let's put that claim to the test, shall we? The last part of Austin Guy's missive is to post, "simple bullet proof statements":

I did a quick search to see what sort of "bullet proof statements" could be found on the Yellow Vests Canada group page. Here is a small sample:

I'm not sure that the bullets these cranks are writing about are metaphorical.
