More Links To Goldy's Support For (and From) White Supremacists

Sometimes when researching other topics one comes across interesting information. For example ARC has often wondered if there was some sort of rift between white supremacist Faith Goldy and white supremacist Lauren Southern. Both worked for Ezra Levant's "Rebel Media" and seemed close at the time:

However whenever she is asked about Southern these days, Goldy demurs.

Then I came across this when looking up information regarding the previous article about Goldy:

Well that's certainly some shade right there.

Since these two occupy the same small ecosystem -- the pond that is the Canadian far-right isn't as big as the American sea for example -- and both fill a similar niche in it I wonder if there isn't some sort of professional animosity taking place.

As Connor MacLeod, ‎Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez‎, and the Kurgan all said, there can only be one.

But really, this isn't the glass house that Goldy should be tossing stones about.

While she has done a very good job of exposing herself by her own words as a racist, ARC has done a pretty good job already of connecting Goldy to a number of hate groups including Students For Western Civilization and ID Canada (formerly Generation Identity Canada) we've come across more information, some of which was published by Canadaland and some which has yet to be published.

Readers will know that the Canadian Anti-Hate Network managed to force Goldy to submit to a compliance audit of her finances related to her mayoral run:

At the same time information regarding her donors was released. Goldy made a big deal about this "doxxing" which would put her supporters in danger (it won't) despite the information already being public and Goldy not seeming to care all that much before she decided to engage in histrionics:

All of these were and are of interest, however it was another part of the disclosure that caught my interest.

ARC had already detailed Goldy's links to ID Canada who were basically helping to run her campaign:

It also appears, based on what Canadaland found, that she hired the suspected leader of ID Canada to provide content and website development:

Tyler Hover has been profiled on the blog here as the suspected leader of then Generation Identity Canada, now ID Canada.

Faith Goldy Defends ID Canada After Vice Article

In discussing the murder of 50 Muslim worshipers in Christchurch, New Zealand once can't help but note that the title of the murderer's fevered ranting that he generously calls a "manifesto" that the title is one that anyone familiar with the identitarian movement would be familiar with:

In addition to the myth of "white genocide" throughout the document, the murder discusses what is referred to as the "great replacement":
The great replacement (French: le grand remplacement) is a right-wing conspiracy theory, which states that the white Catholic French population, and white Christian European population at large, is being systematically replaced with non-European people, specifically Arab/Berber Middle Eastern, North African and Sub-Saharan African populations, through mass migration and demographic growth. It associates the presence of Muslims in France with potential danger and destruction of French culture and civilization.
The conspiracy theory commonly apportions blame to a global and liberal elite, such as Brussels and the European Union, which is portrayed as directing a planned and deliberate plot or scheme to carry out the replacement of European peoples.
While the idea appears to have originated with Renaud Camus it has been made more accessible by the hipster fascists Generation Identity and their Austrian leader Martin Sellner:

Sellner, a former overt neo-Nazi who appears to have tried to rebrand himself, and others like him have attempted to whitewash the history of white nationalism and presents Generation Identity as a non-violent civil rights group. The truth appears to be though that such claims are a rather cynical attempt to shield themselves from legal repercussions for the rhetoric that can and has resulted in real-world violence:

In short, I think they know exactly what the language they use will result in. As such it shouldn't be surprising to learn that the Christchurch murderer was also in correspondence with Sellner:

Not surprisingly, the identitarian movement is under a rather uncomfortable spotlight. Of interest to our readers, though admittedly a bit late to the game, is that there are Canadian connections to the story as two infamous white nationalists have strong connections to the identitarian ideology:

Both Lauren Southern and Faith Goldy are closely identified with identitarianism. Of the two, Southern is probably the most apparent connection in that she is a close friend of both Sellner and his fiancee Brittany Pettibone and has participated in a number of Generation Identity stunts:

It seems appropriate to put this here in response:

It is interesting though that Southern has remained rather silent on this since the raid of her friend Sellner's apartment; we might speculate as to the reasons for her current reticence to say or write anything of a public defence. For that we have to go to another the other Canadian alt-right personality:

My Observations Concerning Saturday's Anti-UN Migrant Compact Protests

As I watched protests in a number of Canadian cities which were ostensibly about opposing the UN's non-binding agreement setting up guidelines for the orderly and safe movement of people as a violation of Canadian sovereignty but which were in fact anti-immigrant (read: non-white) and Islamophobic in nature, I couldn't help but make a few observations.

First, the choice to wear yellow vests to mimic the French protests (the vast majority of whom are not racist trash and who have endeavoured to remove that element from their midst) indicates a distinct lack of originality on the far-right in this country. I mean, are they not capable of any sort of creativity? They copy the name Pegida even though the acronym makes no sense in the Canadian context. They form groups such as the Soldiers of Odin which originated in Europe and the III%ers based on an American model which itself is mostly myth. It's all rather disappointing.

Second, despite some media coverage of the events, the numbers of those who participated in the events haven't really grown that much and still consist mainly of the same people I've seen year after year.

Take Ottawa for example.

This was supposed to be the marque event and was to have featured Maxime Bernier who ultimately no-showed. Some have suggested this was due to not wanting to associate with the extremists (some 14 or 15 groups in total) who organized the Ottawa event, however one speech suggests that he might be comfortable with these bigots after all:

He has certainly not been shy about appearing with individuals belonging to.... shall we say questionable groups such as the Proud Boys?

Or having supporters of white nationalists work in his new political party:

Had he shown up to the Ottawa event, he might have felt quite comfortable with organizers such as Le Meute and the Storm Alliance as well as participants including the Northern Guard, Soldiers of Odin, III% militia, Canadian Combat Coalition, Donald Trump supporters, Christian Heritage Party supporters, and QAnon conspiracy theorists among others:

Still, despite being the largest of the protests with more than a dozen groups participating in the organization of the event, they may have attracted a little over 200 people. The anti-fascists countered with roughly 100. The same could be said of most of the protests that occurred across the country and though they claim they will be holding more events including this Saturday, I'm not sure if they will improve on these already low numbers given the weather growing colder and the upcoming holidays.

More Members and Associates of Calgary University and College Conservative Clubs Linked to "Alt-Right" Racist Ideology

Almost the entirety of this article is the result of the hard work of a source who asked to remain anonymous. I would like to thank this individual their hard work over the past several months

Well, I've done an especially lousy job of taking a break.

Since September, I and others have become increasingly aware of a rot in some of the conservative student clubs in Calgary universities and colleges. The start of this revelation learning more about Jake Findell who (along with another individual) was caught in the act of flyering for ID Canada which was formerly known as Generation Identity Canada:

He was also one of the participants in the Worldwide Coalition Against Islam rally on June 3, 2017:

It soon turned out that he also connected to UofC campus conservative politics. Findell, along with Keean Bexte, supported the hate group FireForce Ventures which was presented as an online military surplus store specializing in items from the former state of Rhodesia but which seemed also to serve as a front for the dissemination of racist ideologies. The news site "Ricochet" initially broke the story focusing on active members of the military, however it also became apparent that one member also had links to the current leader of Alberta's Official Opposition:

Adam Strashok (who also posted online as "Alexei Kuznetsov") ran Jason Kenney's call center during his campaign to become leader of the United Conservative Party. Strashok was also active in UofC campus conservative groups, including the Wild Rose and the Conservative Club. Strashok was also one of the founders of the University of Calgary Firearms Association along with Henry Lung (Lung was also a partner in FireForce Ventures):

Well it turns out that Findell, Bexte, and Strashok were not the only people associated with Calgary campus conservatives, past and current, who are involved in far-right politics:

The image above is of the WCAI anti-Muslim event from June 3, 2017. I published it in a few articles already (I'm assuming Findell might have been the one to conceal the face of the individual on the right). However I later learned the identities of the other three members whose faces can be seen:

Full disclosure. The bulk of the research for this article (and I mean 90% to 95%) was done by an individual who wishes to remain anonymous but to whom I and others owe a great deal of gratitude.

Word of warning. This is a very long post with a lot of screen shots to back up the statements made.

With that, let's take a closer look at these gentlemen, shall we?

Bored? Help Us Identify Some ID Canada Members

After 12 days, ID Canada (formerly Generation Identity Canada) finally managed to put together a video of their small demonstration on August 11 and uploaded it to YouTube. I now present to you all that video:

Whoops! I wonder how that happened?

They also posted the video to their Facebook group page earlier today after YouTube removed it from their platform for copyright violations. While I won't actually post the video, the comments certainly tell us a lot about the group and their supporters:

ARC and others have taken screen shots of the video in order to identify any of the roughly 14 - 16 people who participated in the demonstration. Two of those are people that were identified in the ARC article discussing the event:

Tyler Hover who ARC identified as the leader of Generation Identity Canada and now is presumably heading ID Canada.

Mark Stewart who is also a leader in the hate group.

Two others were identified later:

Julien Côté who is listed as a spokesperson for ID Canada and who appeared in an Edmonton news story regarding ID Canada stickers and flyers found in the city.

Jack Tyler (perhaps a pseudonym) who is or was also a member of Students For Western Civilization; back in November 2017 he and the rest of that group appeared on another bridge (really, this is starting to become a fetish).

Of particular interest is the connection Faith Goldy has with both groups as well as the connection between ID Canada and Students For Western Civilization through Athan Zafirov ("Date") as shown on the leaked Discord chat logs:

There are a few other people who participated in the ID Canada event on August 11 who we have partial images of their faces. Granted these might be long shots, but if any reader is able to identify these people ARC would be very appreciative:

The lone woman at the ID Canada sausage party.

For someone so proud of his culture, I can't help wonder why he would hide himself?

What? No gold chains to complete the outfit?

I can't think of anything particularly amusing (if even only for my own benefit) for this image. They are so generically white bread I'm growing drowsy just looking at the picture. You know the guy in red thinks that deep-fried jalapeno popper are too spicy though.

State of the Far-Right: We Must Remain Vigilant

After the humiliation the far right faced not only in Toronto this past Saturday but also in Washington D.C. on Sunday (to add insult to injury, the organizer of the failed D.C. "Unite the Right 2" rally was emasculated during a podcast by his father), anti-racist and anti-fascist activists are rightfully celebrating as their hard work made all of this happen. The far-right racists, Islamophobes, and antisemites are a fractured movement right now and it really is hard to see how they coalesce in any significant way to hold the mass rallies they envision in an attempt put on a show of strength, though I don't doubt that they will continue to try.

It is important however not to be lulled into a false sense of security:

"Fantastic banner drop"? "Operation"? Jesus, this is a far cry from Barbarossa.
ID Canada (formerly Generation Identity Canada) did a banner drop on the same day as the failed WCAI-organized rally in the Don Valley River Parkway in Toronto. I don't no the city, but those who do suggest that it was likely the bridge connecting Riverdale Park East and West. Based on photos posted to their Facebook page, it looks like a little over a dozen ID Canada members were present:

Is it just me, or does this look like if could be a great cover photo for a magazine named "Incel Quarterly"?

ARC has already established that ID Canada is tied to a number of individuals and groups in Canada of concern:
....Shawn Beauvois-Macdonald who is/was connected to La Meute and who participated in the Charlottesville "Unite the Right" rally (he may hold a position of leadership within ID Canada), "Katrin Kujo" (real name Kate Ollers) who participated in Ronny Cameron's anti-Muslim event in October, and "Winston Smith" (real name Jesse Sanderson) who also participated in Cameron's event as well as being busted hanging "alt-right" flyers at the University of Toronto
More recently, ARC published a story that identified Athan Zafirov as the leader of the Montreal chapter of ID Canada. Zafirov is also known as "Date" on the leaked Discord chat logs and was a frequent guest on the Canadian alt-right podcast "This Hour Has 88 Minutes" which shut down soon after the identity of "Zeiger" as Gabriel Sohier Chaput was published. Other co-hosts of the podcast were exposed later:
ARC has been able to identify least two individuals participating in the ID Canada banner drop on August 11:

Tyler Hover has been identified as the leader of ID Canada and, in spite of his age, has a long online history of promoting racism and violence through Stormfront and other social media:

The second individual, despite not getting a clear look at his face, is believed to be Mark Stewart:

We need to be aware of the activities of such groups as ID Canada who, for example, continue to place their stickers in public places in cities where they have members and supporters in an effort to grow their numbers. However we have to be even more concerned that so-called mainstream political parties are trying to stoke the artificial "white anxiety" fears of some Canadians in a cynical effort to gain real power:

Maxime Bernier has always been quite popular amongst members of the far-right whom this blog keeps an eye on. Prior to the disastrous WCAI rally in Toronto, Ronny Cameron and Proud Boy member Tim Kelly spoke well of him while trashing Andrew Scheer who defeated Bernier in the Tory leadership race:

The following Sunday, Bernier endeared himself to the far-right even more when he decided to dig up Kellie Leitch's play list:

Generation Identity, Alt-Right Montreal, and the Identity of "Date"

ARC has a number of individuals to thank for this article, however one provides the blog with the bulk of the material that follows. I would like to thank her/him, as well as all of those others who assisted in this work, for the invaluable contribution that made this article possible.

On January 7, ARC published an article identifying the suspected head of Generation Identity Canada. Tyler Hover had been a person ARC had been watching for years though we hadn't published much about him during that time. Of potential interest is that former "Rebel Media" personality Lauren Southern is a fan of the group in Europe:

Generation Identity Canada has since rebranded as ID Canada and has found a kindred spirit in another former "Rebel Media" personality Faith Goldy who has been promoting the hate group since the spring:

While identifying Hover has proven to be useful, the real prize has turned out to be learning the identity of the Montreal chapter of Generation Identity (now the Montreal chapter of ID Canada) leader.

ARC is actually coming a little late to the party since the head of Montreal chapter was identified by an online pseudonym in "The National Post" on May 14. Most of the article focused on how the leaking of the Discord chat logs resulted in identifying some far-right individuals from Quebec who participated in the racist Charlottesville rally last August paying particular attention to "Zeiger" (Gabriel Sohier-Chaput), Shawn Beauvais-MacDonald ("FriendlyFash"), and Vincent Bélanger-Mercure, however there was also mention of a figure that I had only been vaguely aware of:
A few days before the long drive south, one of their leaders logged onto an American alt-right forum with a request.
“We are about 20 guys driving through the border from Canada and we obviously will not be able to bring protective gear like shields and so on through the border agents,” wrote Date, a prominent Montreal white nationalist. “If you’ve got extra ones, some of our members are interested in buying them from you over there.”
Of importance to this article though is information found later on "The National Post":
Another key Montreal player goes by the username “LateOfDies.” He first appears in the Montreal Storm chat a few weeks after its creation and remains a moderator throughout the duration of the logs.
In late December 2017, another user describes how LateOfDies acts as the gatekeeper for the crew’s secret Facebook group, which requires in-person vetting by LateOfDies, FriendlyFash or Zeiger in order to enter.
Unlike Zeiger, the name LateOfDies does not appear in forums outside the Discord server. There is, however, a person who uses the pseudonym “Date of Lies,” or sometimes simply “Date” who regularly appears on white supremacist podcasts and in neo-Nazi literature connected to Montreal and Quebec.
It was Date who had asked to buy shields and gear from American users ahead of Charlottesville. Date has also appeared on podcasts with Shawn Beauvais-MacDonald — who used the alias Friendly Fash (two words, rather than one), just like in Montreal Storm.
Date identifies himself as a leader within Generation Identity Canada in a white supremacist podcast from October 2017. That group, which recently rebranded itself as ID Canada, has posted propaganda around Concordia and McGill in the past. Date also claimed to have been involved in the “Make Canada Great Again” posters that went up around McGill shortly after Donald Trump’s election.
In an interview with Harfang, the secret newsletter of the neo-Nazi group Fédération des Québécois de Souche, Date says that Generation Identity was formerly called Alt Right Montreal.
The connection Generation Identity and the Facebook group Alt-Right Montreal was made explicit on the Montreal Storm chat logs and includes a misspelling of Date's first name:

On a related note it seems that Students For Western Civilization is also involved with Gabriel Sohier-Chaput and those who participated in the "Montreal Storm" chats by attending physical events (referred to as TRS Pool Parties).

That's another connection to Faith Goldy:

Date is also seen here coordinating with American fascists prior to Charlottesville:

Thus far the identity of "Date" or "DateOfLies" hasn't been widely distributed, but someone who I am very grateful to has provided ARC with the identity and supporting evidence to identify who he is:

Ronny Cameron Off The Rails: Part 2

On the same day Ronny Cameron attacked Generation Identity Canada (now rebranded as ID Canada) "leader" Tyler Hover, Cameron also attacked another person who he seems to believed had wronged him:

Ronny claims this Amanda has made a baseless claim suggesting he is a white nationalist which is RIDICULOUS since, as Ronny himself said in his missive directed at Hover, white nationalism is synonymous with white supremacy and is a cowardly ideology.

Yeah, you're going to want to remember that for future reference.

In any case, Amanda apparently is a classic liberal, a concept that neither Ronny nor his supporters seem to comprehend:

In essence, Ronny is angry that Amanda won't debate him, something that is rather succinctly stated by one of the people posting in the thread later who rightfully called out Ronny as being a child:

The following is the discussion that was precipitated by Ronny's attack. It was as fun to watch, if not more so, than Ronny going off on Hover. As with the first in this series I might come back to make some pithy observations, but I think that it stands very well on it's own:
