An Examination of Marc Lemire: Part III

After the second part of our examination of Marc Lemire, we thought that adding a third article might be a bit of overkill. Sort of like taking candy from a baby in a stroller and then punching said baby in the face.

But then again, we do enjoy candy......

Oh, what the hell! We haven't published anything in a while this month and we do have the screenshots kicking around so we might as well use them. We'll make this one short though.

We have already talked about Mr. Lemire's bigotry in our first article and his active involvement in the Heritage Front in our second article. Now for his relationship with Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel.

We could provide our leaders with the numerous links to Stormfront where Lemire reposts letters sent to Zundel supporters, but we won't bother boring you. We can also talk about how he believed that Ernst Zundel, who was never a Canadian citizen, should be voted as the Greatest Canadian:

But the most interesting information regarding Lemire and his relationship with Mr. Zundel comes from an online fight between Lemire and Western Canada For Us co-founder Peter Kouba. Take a look at the last two screen shots where Lemire discusses the Zundel trial:

"With Ernst Zundel on trial for his life as a free man and my very close relationship to him (Zundel testified at the court I worked for him for five years)..."
Isn't Lemire's close relationship with Zundel one of the things that the FreeDom folks have denied? And yet Lemire admits his close relationship with Zundel and doesn't dispute Zundel's court testimonial.

This alone would seem to put to bed the claims that Lemire's involvement with Zundel was limited, however we also have the testimony of Zundel's then estranged wife Irene from 1997:

According to Mrs. Zundel, however, Toronto's Marc Lemire, also apparently paid by Mr. Zundel, often posted audio and video files to the site from Toronto. She also asserted that Mr. Lemire was responsible for emailing "Zgrams" and posting them to the California site when Ms. Rimland was traveling.

and

She said a part-time employee, Marc Lemire, also took handwritten material submitted by Mr. Zundel, keyed it into computers and "posted" it to the Web site. "Ingrid didn't have the knowledge to do it."

So, there you have it. Will the speechies accept any of this? Of course not. However that was never our desire. At least the speechies won't be able to portray Lemire as a saint without some sort of dissent and actual proof that shows that Lemire is everything his critics have said about him.

  1. Good Work again Mr. N.O. Special!
So I take it that all of these screen shots were originally posted in 2004. There's a date on the first one, but not the subsequent ones.

Anyway, to my knowledge, Lemire never denied working for Zundel. It would be pretty silly to try that now. But we get to see some pretty silly things ...don't we?

  2. That's right, all from 2004. The post was too large for a single screen shot.

Interestingly, we don't think that Lemire has denied his involvement with Zundel. However, we're surprised how many of the speechies have tired to say his involvement with Zundel was limited.

quite the witch hunt you guys are on...

Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

  4. That's all well and good, though we're not sure we'd be quoting insane syphilitics.

  5. Zundel isn't just some rolly poly old dude who has funny ideas. The creep ran a massive Nazi propaganda publishing and distribution business for many years. Was believed to have been one of if not the largest business of its kind in the world.

Lemire wrenched extreme racialist websites for him, then went on to do the same for himself and others.

There's more to this than meets the eye.
