This guy has been spewing racist hate for a long time. Now he's finally been forced to apologize. pic.twitter.com/vJk5cn1PHY— North99 (@wearenorth99) December 17, 2018
Ron Banerjee, anti-Muslim agitator, last year: ppl have to be 'Jihadist' to go into Paramount Fine Foods or have 'raped your wife.' Banerjee now: 'Such hate has no place in Canada.' My story about Banerjee's lawsuit settlement (& his video apology) here: https://t.co/IyRDjf1jeY— Jennifer Yang (@jyangstar) December 17, 2018
The Canadian Anti-Hate Network is "immensely grateful" for the donation, the organization's chair says. https://t.co/vlb1etJnjA— CBC Toronto (@CBCToronto) December 18, 2018
This probably doesn't bode well for Kevin "the Poodle" Johnston, the other party in the law suit. He hasn't been especially active online of late, though the selling of a comic book collection suggests he's strapped for cash. There was also a recent question posed on his own Twitter account (but seemingly not by himself) concerning a significant health issue.
Time will tell.
In the meantime I would like to congratulate Mr. Fakih and thank him for his very generous donation to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network.
