Served by Peterborough Police, Peace Bond Sought Against Kevin Goudreau

Kevin "No Show" Goudreau may finally be facing the consequences years of making online threats. Today he was served by Peterborough Police with a summons to appear this morning for a peace bond hearing in Ottawa on June 25th.

The peace bond is reference to these posts in which he threatened yours truly and the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) as well as journalists and occurred in the aftermath of the Christchurch murders that Goudreau references directly:

Goudreau later denied making the threats and claimed he was going to sue those who collected the screen shots:

CAHN, or will, be releasing the following in response to the news:

A neo-Nazi counselled people to murder us but we won't be intimidated.
We're bringing a court application in Ottawa to hold Peterborough neo-Nazi Kevin Goudreau accountable for his threats.
In the wake of the tragic events in Christchurch where a terrorist murdered 51 Muslim men, women, and children, Peterborough neo-Nazi Kevin Goudreau posted online that we were in a state of Racial Holy War and counselled readers to attack "priority targets" such as the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), human rights commissions, reporters with the CBC, VICE, and the National Post, and those of us here at the Canadian Anti-Hate Network. Goudreau suggested people shoot victims twice in the brain "because some people survive a bullet to the head".
We believe in the rule of law and reported Goudreau counselling murder immediately to the Peterborough Police Service as we've done at least 4-times for his online threats over the past 10-years. Bravo to all of you who did the same. As in the previous cases, however, the criminal justice system failed and police announced that after consultation with prosecutors, no charges would be laid.
But we won't be intimidated. We've brought a court application to have a 'peace bond' (link to https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/cj-jp/victims-victimes/factsheets-fiches/peace-paix.html) issued against Kevin Goudreau under the Criminal Code that would require him to obey conditions for the next year such as stopping his online threats and incitement to violence and surrendering any firearms or other weapons he may have.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that anti-racism advocates have used this self-help remedy to deal with threats of violence from those involved in the white supremacist and neo-Nazi movements in Canada.
Here at CAHN, we're standing up because it's more important than ever to continue the fight against the politics of hate.

The threats made by Goudreau are really just the more recent of a very, very, long list of online threats going back more than a decade and which ARC has dutifully documented. That list includes but isn't limited to the following:

As per his posts on the far-right social media platform of choice these days (he has been booted from Facebook) Gab as well as his own blog, it would seem that "No Show" Goudreau hasn't grasped the seriousness of the situation that he is in:

I mean.... Goudreau does know he's posted videos too, right? And that ARC and others have saved them?

In any case ARC will provide more information when we learn more.

The Far-Right Continues To Eat Itself: Milo Yiannopoulos Attacks Lauren Southern

Sometimes one reads a story and walks away hoping that everyone involved crashes and burns:

I hadn't planned on talking about Lauren Southern, who had just released another in a line of dubious propaganda films, since among other things  I didn't think her "retirement" was a real; I was sure she would pop up again like a bad rash when she decided she needed affirmation from her particular army of incel alt-righters. I'm still not convinced that she's gone for good, but the timing is especially interesting in light of a story posted by alt-right (or at least alt-right adjacent) personality Milo Yiannopoulos to his blog:

Readers may remember the name Caolan Robertson as he was featured in a controversy regarding his time with Ezra Levant's "Rebel Media" where he was once employed. In fact the Yiannopoulos post discusses this incident at some length. The article discusses how Robertson and his partner George Llewelyn-John are lying grifters who stole from the likes of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and who spend their ill-gotten money lavishly on themselves.... which I think is a rather rich accusation since Yiannopoulos is a grifter who spends money lavishly on himself. However the parts dealing with Lauren Southern are what I find to be especially interesting considering that Yiannopoulos and Southern, who worked with Robertson and Llewelyn-John on both the propaganda film released in May of this year as well as a strategically edited (ie. lying) ambush of a human rights lawyer representing refugees in Greece, at one time were thick as thieves:

That relationship seemed to be at the very least on shaky ground when plans were being made for an Australian tour which ultimately collapsed:

Given his desire to be the center of attention and to undermine those who he believes are challenging his status as well as the rather obvious professional (if one can call what these people do as a profession) jealousy one might be inclined to take Yiannopoulos' bitterness with a grain of salt.

Still, there's certainly enough here to indicate just how awful everyone involved in this really are:

So What Are Canadian Identitarians Up To Lately?

Back on March 10 I wrote an article in response to messages ARC received such as these concerning Students For Western Civilization:

My response included screenshots from the Unicorn Riot Discord chat leaks which indicated that Students For Western Civilization was very much a part of a movement that included such groups as Identity Evropa (now rebranded as the American Identity Movement), Generation Identity (which in Canada rebranded as ID Canada), and other hate groups. The leader of SFWC, George Hutcheson, was once of the speakers at the Leading Our People Forward conference as an example:

Patrick Casey, posting in Discord as "Reindhard Wolff" is the leader of the American Identity Movement (again, formerly Identity Evropa) who posts comments such as these which really allow readers to get a strong sense of the man's.... er.... character? I guess?

And of course SFWC was also a group that was discussed on the Montreal Storm server featuring "Date" and "Zeiger" among others.

Well after an extended silence SFWC decided to pop their heads out to see if there's a shadow several months too late:

Sigh....

Is there a more clear example of a first world problem or white privilege than the current trend of racists being banned from social media for violating the terms of service (for which they had been treated with kid gloves for years, mind you) now threatening to sue because said private business gave them the boot?

Yeah, and WE'RE the snowflakes.

By the way, YVCE also noted the following:

I don't suspect they will get very far with this proposed lawsuit which seems more like a desperate publicity stunt than an actual thing, though I'm sure they could find a lawyer willing to take their money knowing it is a lost cause. George's friend, who knows full well the consequences of filing baseless lawsuits, should probably talk some sense into hims:

Right.

That's likely not going to happen.

As long as I'm here, I thought that it might also be fun to post the more recent Discord chat logs concerning Goldy and the attitude toward her mayoral campaign. Much of the discussion involves her association with ID Canada which has been discussed on this blog.

Offered with no commentary:

With friends like these, eh?

Hamilton Yellow Vests Rally Draws Numerous Hate and Patriot Groups

On June 8, 2019 a number of hate and patriot groups participated in a Yellow Vests Canada rally in downtown Hamilton, Ontario, including Soldiers of Odin, Wolves of Odin, Northern Guard, Canadian Nationalist Party, and Proud Boys.

If this seems excessive, that's because on June 1, 2019 the same Hamilton Yellow Vests, led by Lisa Thompson, held a rally in downtown Hamilton and were met with anti-fascist counter protesters. Sources, and social media, confirmed that the Hamilton YV's asked various chapters of Soldiers of Odin to provide "protection." What resulted was a charge attack on counter-protesters, with one person in attendance having their mask ripped off and glasses broken.

The Hamilton YV leader, Lisa Thompson, is pleased with herself.

Based on previous social media posts it seems this was pre-meditated, and SOO was there to act as enforcers:

This even resulted in blanket threats for future stalking and attacks:

This brings us to today. Earlier this week we were tipped off that Hamilton YV's were planning on bringing out larger numbers, again as "security," but obviously because they were actually hoping for violence. Sick bunch.

Thompson's social media screeds are a clear indicator that she's looking for trouble.

This resulted in a large showing of the far-right, including Andre Chiasson of the Canadian Nationalist Party (who recently lit a Quran on fire at a Pegida rally with various hate group members,) Ed Jamnisek (of Northern Guard and C3,) Rick Boswick and Derek Storie of Pegida, Tim Kelly of the Proud Boys, and more, including Justin Long, who previously posed with Paul Fromm:

One person, wearing gloves, a helmet, and a protective vest, was removed by police, and held back by a man wearing a Wolves of Odin sweatshirt:

They weren't without their meltdowns:

Derek Storie was his usual charming self, joking about throwing people in front of buses:

While Rick Boswick bragged that the cops are on their side, and Storie claiming that as soon as people hit the side walk it's "throw down time."

Peaceful protesters indeed.

There were some scuffles; a journalist and activist who was present intervened when a group of SOO rushed a female photographer. According to a post to Facebook, he was briefly detained and released. Despite this, and despite no video evidence to the contrary, Boswick/Storie and Wayne Peters claim to have his arrest on film. Peters shared "video" of it to his conspiratorial Yellow Vests-related group What's Up Canada.

This is a developing story and will be updated as necessary.
