Ronny Cameron Off The Rails: Part 3

If a group of roughly two dozen Proud Boys and supporters march around in Brantford for half and hour, and no one paid any attention, did they really march at all?

I suppose that isn't exactly a Zen kōan, but it is something to consider.

Yep, this past Saturday a group of Proud Boys, most of whom appear to be from elsewhere, bravely faced off against the good, and probably mildly confused, people of Brantford because students at the university hurt some of their members' feelings. Now the PBs really didn't actually DO anything other than march around with a Trump banner, at least one Christian flag (because Islamic theocracy = bad but Christian theocracy = awesome!), a few PB flags, a couple of Canadian flags, and some old Red Ensigns, but they sure.... did something?

So having walked around a bit with few people paying them much attention to them, the PBs declared victory:

Despite the victory they claimed which, compared to say the Battle of Saragarhi (the Sikh troops didn't even have a cup of Timmies), is sort of gilding the lilies a bit, the group was rattled by a lone man with a cell phone:

That said, our astute readers will recognize Ronny Cameron's presence amongst the Proud Boys as he also attended the march. Earlier in the he also interviewed the braying jackass Tim Kelly, a PB and Brantford local for his "Get To Know a Patriot" series.

Cameron, pulling no punches, begins with the hard-hitting question that is on the minds of all patriotic Canadians: which Canadian alt-right personality would he like to bang the most?

Now, besides connecting us once again to a recent story ARC published regarding misogyny in the alt-right and the racist overtones of that misogyny, it also reminds this hack writer that I had been working on a mini-series detailing Ronny Cameron's embrace of white nationalism:

By January 8, Ronny decided that white nationalism was actually peachy keen and announced he would post a video explaining his sudden change of heart.

Others, anticipating the video, responded to the above post. Many of those responses, as well as Ronny's own commentary, are quite enlightening:

Back in 1982, one of my Grade 2 classmates arrived at school more than an hour late. The teacher began to admonish him and demand why it had taken him so long to walk to school AGAIN (we lived in a small town).

Benjamin stammered that someone tried to pull him into a van.

At that point I remember my teacher's face turning to ash. You see there was a time in the late 70s through the late 80s when news of people trying to abduct children was frequently on the news and constituted, in retrospect, somewhat of a widely believed urban myth since even then it was far more likely that a child would be kidnapped by someone he or she knew rather than a stranger. The teacher took Ben to the office immediately. Not long after we saw police cars pull up in the parking lot out the window and his mother sprinting into the school, frantically heading straight to the office sobbing all the while. One by one the Grade 2 class was taken into an empty classroom to be questioned by the police to see if we could maybe provide any information. Did we see that van? What color was it? How many people were inside? Where did we see the van?

Wanting to please the police officers who were trying to protect us, we all provided what we thought would be helpful answers.

I told the police officers the van was black with a painting of a girl with a sword in a bikini riding a big cat (remembering that my uncle had a van just like that because, you know, he was a classy fella) and one person driving. One of my friends said she saw a red van by the park with two men and one woman. Another saw a blue van with two people and a dog. All of us, so far as I know, gave the officers what we believed to be "helpful" answers and endeavored to be as creative as possible.

Of course if they has asked where we had last SEEN Ben on our way to school, some of us might also have said we saw him between the Johnstone's garage and fence feeding their pet rabbits as he often did on his way to and from school through the back alley shortcut many of us took and  which is why he was often late for school.

It didn't take long for the police to figure this out for themselves. I don't remember much of what happened after, though I do remember Ben being made to stay in the class during recess for a week and his parents grounding him for a month; he was playing outside within the week after his parents apparently relented. The incident wasn't really ever spoken about again until graduation when it was recounted as a humorous anecdote about Ben during the grad dinner a decade later, but other than that it was mostly a forgotten story.

Sometimes children lie. They lie because they don't want to get into trouble. They lie because they want to provide the "correct" answers to people in positions of authority either through subtle or not subtle coaching or through their own form of creative fill-in-the-blanks. They lie because it results in attention. They lie because of psychological troubles. They lie for a variety of reasons. It doesn't make them bad. It just means they are kids who aren't entirely aware of the consequences of their lie. For example, not long ago in Okotoks, AB a young teen claimed to have been attacked at her home and had her throat slashed before the suspect, described as a blond male, ran off. The story made the news provincially and nationally and was actually used as an example by some of the Islamophobic bigots and groups ARC covers as an example of Islamic violence since some automatically assumed the suspect was a Muslim:

• "Something Bad Happened? Let's Blame The Muslims."

However by November 24 the police had determined that the young girl had made up the story. There was no follow-up in the news after that and people promptly forgot about it though I remember some people express sympathy for both the girl ("she needs psychological help and I'm praying for her") and her family ("oh, they must be so embarrassed!).

Similar sympathetic attitudes were not expressed towards the 11 year old girl who claimed to have been attacked by a man who cut up her hijab or her family who, once the realized the story wasn't true, soon apologized "to all Canadians." (though this act of contrition was not expected or demanded of the Okotoks family previously mentioned):

In the world of Islamophobes, guilt is assigned to the group. An 11 year old child lied, so that means all Muslims are complicit:

That last claim by Myatt isn't exactly an original one. On January 29, 2017, Alexandre Bissonnette is alleged to have entered the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City where he then opened fire. As a result six people were killed and others injured. At the time of the tragedy, the groups and individuals ARC monitors had three primary reactions to the tragedy:

1. They celebrated the attack and hoped for more.
2. They accused Muslims of killing Muslims (and again, some were very happy about this as well).
3. They claimed it didn't happen, that Bissonnette was a patsy, or that it was a "false flag."

A Brief Message For Nick Gallant of the Northern Guard

Nick is triggered.

He's pretending that he isn't, but he really is.

Nick is upset that ARC has once again shown the kind of character that would be attracted to the Northern Guard. In the video he suggests that the trouble with the Saskatchewan chapter of the Northern Guard was due solely to one individual. Of course that isn't true as there was another member in a position of leadership who had links to the Klan and who is still very much a member in good standing having been re-added to the national page on January 9:

It also begs the question as to why Gallant would need to boot 200 other members if only one person was a problem, but then I really don't think logical consistency is among Nick's stronger mental attributes.

In the video posted above, he also claims to "know" the writer of this blog (your's truly). Based on his and the messages ARC has been receiving, it is very clear that none of them do, which is certainly a shame.

Most importantly however, Nick has said he will be creating other videos. In another video he claims that he will do this because he feels we don't like it when he posts videos of himself.

I would like to assure Nick that this is most definitely not the case. I for one really enjoy his videos and genuinely hope for more.

Northern Guard's Saskatchewan Problem

On December 21, Nick Gallant posted the following video, much of which was focused on lil' ARC.

Sooooo, our articles showing the Northern Guard to be unapologetic bigots attracts people to the your "club" eh?

I'm not entirely certain you're aware of how you've contradicted yourself by that claim alone.

Moreover, for almost the first four minutes of the video you feel the need to admonish your members to NOT post death threats directed at the Prime Minister and Muslims. It all sort of suggests that the crowd you're attracting are, perhaps, aren't exactly quality people.

I mean, talk about the company you keep.

This lead me into my overview of the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Northern Guard, or at least what was once the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Northern Guard.

A while back, ARC was introduced to this fella:

Uhm.... are children's plastic guns supposed to be intimidating?

Darren Jones was, at least until late December or early January, the vice-president of the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Northern Guard:

I should also note that Darren Jones actually has three profiles that ARC knows about, including the three that used to act as administrators on the Saskatchewan Northern Guard Facebook group

He also had a beef with the former Moose Jaw Chapter leader of the Soldiers of Odin (and one time would-be Saskatchewan Aryan Nations leader) Jody Issel which I personally got a bit of a kick out of as Jones gives ARC a bit of a shout-out:

Now National President and founder of the Northern Guard Nick Gallant has repeatedly spoken about how stringently he "vetts" new members and the leadership team. Nothing untoward would get past the steely gaze of Nick Gallant, right?

And what exactly are those flags in the background?

January 2018 Bits and Bites: PEGIDA Canada Fail, Trudeau Heckled By Known Islamophobe, And Paulie Whining

First, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Steven Alexander Paj Daus ندفة الثلج Copo de Nieve Iqhwa Gregory Myatt might just be having a few problems at the moment:

Well that's a damn shame.

Time will tell if this is long lasting, but I for one will enjoy the peace and quiet however brief it may be.

Steven Myatt on Alleged Assault of 11-Year-Old Child: A Reminder of the Character of the People We're Dealing With

On Friday, an 11-year-old child walking to school with her younger brother alleged to have been attacked by a man who twice cut up her hijab with a scissors. Police described the incident as a hate crime at the time and were looking for assistance from the public, however by Monday it was reported that the attack thankfully had not taken place.

Even getting beyond the fact that the attack did not take place, one would think that even the most vociferous Islamophobe would recognize that harming a child is abhorrent. One however would be mistaken:

I post this, and the following comments left on Myatt's Facebook profile, to remind readers about kind of loathsome creatures (it is hard to describe such hate-filled individuals as "people") that are covered here on ARC:

Toronto "White Nationalist" Ronny Cameron Approves of Donald Trump's "Shithole Countries" Comment

ARC has been publishing a series of posts regarding Ronny Cameron's attacks on other figures on the right (here and here). In the screen shots that were provided Cameron made comments regarding "white nationalists" that would turn out to be especially interesting if not at all surprising:

Of course he also later added another comment:

ARC's readers were likely well aware where this was heading:

Yeah, he's actually totally into white nationalism now.

ARC will continue the series including video excerpts, but suffice it to say for now in the rambling 2+ hour long video and summarized by another friend who viewed it, Cameron:

• Says that white nationalism is 1) the recognition that the white race exists and 2) that white people should remain a majority in countries that are "historically theirs" (which sort of begs the question as to how he thinks North and South America are "historically" white).
• States that all those who fall under the umbrella of white nationalism, which presumably would including neonazis (he says "separatists, supremacists, alt-light, and alt-right"), need to unite.
• Espouses 150 year old racial pseudoscience, that there are "3 skeletal structures", caucasoid, mongoloid, and negroid.
• Claims that behind closed doors everyone in the "patriot movement" is a white nationalist in the way he describes and that they shouldn't be afraid to embrace the term.
• Thinks there should be a "white defense league" like the JDL and that "black culture was doing better in the 60s and 70s".
• Suggests that Jews run Hollywood and the media, but the problem is they're liberals, not that they're Jews (so I wonder is Meir Weinstein and the JDL would be satisfied by that apparent observation)
• Finally, suggests that candidates such as Donald Trump and Andrew Scheer would never win if white nationalists didn’t come out to vote.

That last claim concerning what Cameron believes to be a significant portion of Donald Trumps (and Andrew Scheer's) base turned out to be rather serendipitous as it turns out.

On Thursday, "The Washington Post" broke the news that, in a meeting regarding immigration policy with a number of senators and their aids, Trump was frustrated with efforts to protect immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador, and African countries and asked why so many immigrants from "shithole countries" had been allowed into the United States and stated that the United States should focus more on immigrants from places like Norway (i.e. "white").

The response internationally has been one of condemnation. Trump claims to have not made the comment, but this is contradicted by a Democratic senator on the record as well as a Republican senator who spoke to a colleague about the slur. Also, Trump is a liar so there's also that.

But while decent human beings internationally and on different sides of the political spectrum have condemned Trump.... again, his supporters are giddy with excitement that "one of theirs" is speaking their language.

And those supporters include some Canadians such as Ronny Cameron:

To be clear, although he believes the media are liars when he doesn't like what is reported, he is a big supporter of news that he can get behind:

On the same day Ronny Cameron attacked Generation Identity Canada (now rebranded as ID Canada) "leader" Tyler Hover, Cameron also attacked another person who he seems to believed had wronged him:

Ronny claims this Amanda has made a baseless claim suggesting he is a white nationalist which is RIDICULOUS since, as Ronny himself said in his missive directed at Hover, white nationalism is synonymous with white supremacy and is a cowardly ideology.

Yeah, you're going to want to remember that for future reference.

In any case, Amanda apparently is a classic liberal, a concept that neither Ronny nor his supporters seem to comprehend:

In essence, Ronny is angry that Amanda won't debate him, something that is rather succinctly stated by one of the people posting in the thread later who rightfully called out Ronny as being a child:
