Sturrup Drafting Charter Challenge?

We've got to admit we aren't sure where Sturrup is going with this. Perhaps Reitmeier's wife, who has so frequently posted defences of her husband, might be able to shed light on this?

Our guess is it might have something to do with the length of time it is taking for his case to go to trial, but that really is just unsubstantiated speculation on our part.

One of two purported white supremacists charged with murdering a Calgary man will make an unspecified Charter challenge in advance of his trial next spring.

Tyler William Sturrup appeared briefly in Court of queen’s Bench Friday to set deadline dates for written briefs for his constitutional challenge.

A Regina judge has stayed a charge against Terry Tremaine, who was accused of continuing to post hate speech online in defiance of an order from the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

In 2007, the commission ordered Tremaine to stop posting anti-Jewish material on the internet.

It's been a while since we've written about, "the Goudreau" pictured on the right (well, sort of.... she really is awful, isn't she?). Last we saw he was now posting on VNN claiming to be the leader of a vast movement in Canada. We presume that he hopes that the folks at VNN will be more credulous about his claims than were those on Stormfront. He's likely going to be disappointed. 

We take, the Goudreau with a healthy grain of salt, however there are times when we do have to take the snivelling creature a little more seriously. Like when he threatens to have people murdered.

We suppose we can say it began when the Goudreau signed up to Facebook after again being kicked off.

We're amused by a few things here. First, we find it funny that Paulie still has no understanding of the law, be it civil or criminal, despite acting on behalf of some boneheads who have faced legal troubles like Terry Tremaine. If he's so upset, then perhaps he should have actually read the terms of service (that, to be fair, few bother to look at) before clicking on the box agreeing to them?

Second, that the Goudreau thinks (encouraged by Paulie) that boneheads such as themselves would be able to buy enough stocks to get any sort of voting control of Facebook since Mark Zuckerberg owns more than 50% of the shares and, thus, outright control. That, and to purchase even 1% of the shares available, boneheads would have to scrape together hundreds of millions of dollars even with the massive drop in share prices since going public.

Stupid?

Yes, these are very, very stupid people.

But as much as we might laugh at the foolishness of these cretins, we do find ourselves more than a bit concerned when we also start reading posts like these:

Terry Tremaine: Dumb. Very Dumb.

On Monday we had suggested that we would likely learn what Terry Tremaine's sentence for contempt would be, however that obviously didn't happen.

Today we learned a possible reason for the delay:

Tom has taken to including us in the online media publications he has decided to spam with is.... shall we say unique?.... take on the world. And, if we're to be honest, we do sometimes like to bait him a little.

We knew our last post on Rushton would result in a response, though we've been unable to check on the comments until mere moments ago because, unlike Tomasz apparently, we have families that we like spending time with on Thanksgiving. But boy, oh boy, is Tommy insistent this time!

Post the comment I submitted before you commie coward.

It's like he's not getting enough attention at home. It's sort of sad that he is, unconsciously, seeking validation and acceptance from us. Perhaps he's a candidate for Big Brothers Big Sisters?

Tommy, baby, a few things you should know about us.

First, trying to order us to do something? That's sort of a non starter, but it is sort of funny to us how insistent you are. Again, maybe you just need a puppy?

Second, we're less inclined to post your comments when you fail to address our rebuttals. That's right Tommy, we have posted some of your comments, but it would seem to us that you aren't interested in, or capable of, any sort of meaningful dialogue.

Finally, why would we want to give you any sort of a platform? Arguing with you means taking time out of our busy schedule and preventing us from our real passions. Like stamp collecting. And knitting.

That being said, and in response to your most recent missives, this writer decided to spend as much time as you are worth doing a little digging.

MONTREAL – The Greek political party Golden Dawn has been called a neo-nazi organization. But Canadian supporters who opened a Montreal chapter this month say that couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Montreal chapter is one of only two outside Greece. It launched in early September and began to collect food, medicine and clothing to send to Golden Dawn headquarters in Athens for the needy. Organizers say they have sent about a ton of aid to Greece.
