Before we post the "Toronto Star" article, we've learned that our friend John Marleau might be in a little trouble with the law again. We received a not from a reader saying that they saw Marleau at the court house (we assume the one downtown) and he looked less than pleased. So if that individual would like to get in touch with us again we would be very interested to know why he is in trouble now.

In the meantime, here's something else our readers can help with. The police can't seem to find out who is responsible for this harassment. Perhaps our readers can:

A string of racist vandalism against a black man and his white partner has shocked a collegial Newmarket neighbourhood and pushed a couple to the brink.

The latest of three incidents happened sometime between Christmas Eve night and early Christmas morning, according to York Region police.

Rita Brown, who along with her partner, Seun Oyinsan, moved into a home this summer on quiet suburban Hodgson Dr., discovered the “N” word scratched on the hood of her car Christmas Day.

That came nearly 3 ½ months after two other attacks on their home and vehicles. During the first, on Sept.

Reitmeier Preliminary Hearing Occurred December 21

A brief but important update on the forcible confinement and sexual assault charges against Robert Reitmeier. We received a note the preliminary hearing took place last Wednesday.

Reitmeier and Tyler Sturrup had been arrested in June accused of murdering  Mark Mariani. Later, we learned that Reitmeier had been charged earlier with forcible confinement and sexual assault.

Court Dates For Blood & Honour Members Postponed

The hearing for Rob de Chazal and Alastair Miller has been scheduled for January 23. Shawn Macdonald's hearing will take place on January 27.

Now we can't say how Miller and Macdonald will defend themselves, but it appears that part of de Chazal's defence will be that he is not a neo-Nazi and that language describing him as such is prejudicial:

Marc Lemire Denies Heritage Front Past to Ezra Levant

You know, we rarely watch the Sun News channel, in part because of the poor production and the amateur hour nature of the programing, but if we're to be honest the biggest reason is how they spin the news. Based on their ratings, it appears we aren't alone in our assessment.

So when Marc Lemire appeared on Ezra Levant's show this past summer, we didn't watch, which in retrospect was very stupid of us. Eventually though, we thought to ourselves, "Hey, wonder if he deals with his long running involvement in the Heritage Front? Surely Ezra would ask about, right? And if Lemire is asked, certainly he would have to tell the truth because Ezra would call him on it if he misrepresents his past? Ezra is a journalist after all and would do the necessary research..... right?"

Well, Lemire was asked about his involvement with the Heritage Front. Here is his reply:

We've twice (here and here) alluded to something rather odd happening on the Blood & Honour forums (as opposed to the Blood and Honour International/Combat 18 forums). Given that three of their own have been accused of and arrested for a series of assaults in Vancouver, one might expect something about this would be discussed on their website.

And there was a thread created to discuss it. Briefly. So briefly we didn't get the screen shots before the thread "mysteriously" disappeared.

Well, it really isn't all that much of a mystery. Shawn Macdonald, one of the men accused in the series of assaults in Vancouver, is also a moderator on the forums. It appears that he, or someone acting for him, made the offending thread disappear. This is evidenced by the last time Shawn logged in to the forum:
