Profile: Tomasz Winnicki

Tomasz Winnicki, born on November 17, 1975, once proudly described himself as London, Ontario’s “biggest hater.” His posts on the VNN forums were profanity-laced diatribes against immigrants, African-Canadians, First Nations peoples, women, the police, homosexuals, and his biggest target, Jews. He threatens. He bullies. He’s as close to the stereotypical, frothing at the mouth bigot that one can find in real life outside of comic books.

But really, how seriously can you take someone who at 32 years old and based on current knowledge still lives in his mother’s and father’s basement and doesn’t seem to have ever lived on his own? Well, there was the brief exception of his stay for a few months in one of Canada’s fine correctional facilities for violation of a court injunction, but we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

Winnicki is himself an immigrant who’s family emigrated to Canada from Poland in 1987. He started making waves as a bigot in 2003 when someone discovered his racist website. Though the service provider did pull the plug on Winnicki when they were made aware of the content of his website, this wasn’t the end of Winnicki’s online activities. He soon found a new home on Alex Linder’s Vanguard News Network where he first posted as Thexder_3D. When his real identity was discovered he started posting under his own name. His posts are characteristically rambling, hate-filled and barely literate (you’d think his vocabulary was limited to the phrase, “fuck you Jews” when reading his posts) screeds targeting anyone not White, male, heterosexual, or, well, almost everyone really.

Soon Winnicki began attending protests along side Canadian Heritage Alliance leader Melissa Guille, Jason Ouwendyk and his Northern Alliance boneheads and Paul Fromm, the acknowledged leader of the Canadian far right. He mostly attended protests of London’s Gay Pride parades where he held up charming signs such as “AIDS Cures Homosexuals” but there was one protest he had attempted to join in but was prevented from doing so. In September 2004, Winnicki was driving his car with three other men were on their way to a rally in Toronto in support of Holocaust denier Ernst Zündel. When stopped by the police Winnicki’s car was searched. In his car the police discovered throwing knives, body armour, and a bow with arrows. Instead of attending the rally, Winnicki and the three other men were arrested. He plead guilty to weapons charges on November 23, 2006 and was given a conditional discharge with 6 months probation. It was discovered that one of the men who was arrested with Winnicki was Randal Linton who posts on Stormfront and other hate sites as “Raghnall." The other two were Kevin Lovett and Jason King

Winnicki Donates to Free Dominion's Warman Appeal: Part II

There are a few things in life that are predictable.

Death. Taxes. And Tomasz Winnicki will respond to a blog post in which he is explicitly referred to.

A few days ago we had noted that Winnicki had made a donation to the Fourniers' legal fund established to appeal the defamation suit they had lost. As a result of having been found to have defamed Richard Warman, the Fourniers/Free Dominion and two other posters were assessed a considerable penalty. We mentioned that the Fourniers had yet to repudiate the donation at that time, though we suggested we would give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they hadn't heard of Tom Winnicki (though he did post on their forum occasionally if memory serves; he may or may not have been banned) or perhaps they had not yet noticed his contribution. Certainly they wouldn't take money from someone like Tomasz Winnicki if they knew better, would they?

Though we did send a link to the article to the Fourniers via twitter, we didn't expect to hear from them regarding the matter. We were sure that we would eventually hear from Tommy.

And we did hear from him.

The first one in response to a comment Winnicki made regarding his belief that it should be perfectly fine for underage children to engage in sexting and for any accompanying harassment that might follow isn't exactly germane to his contributions to the Free Dominion legal fund, but it does say a great deal about a man who still lives at home with his elderly mother and who will be turning 40 in November. But he soon does get to the main point:

Winnicki Donates to Free Dominion's Warman Appeal

Looks like London's biggest hater (his own words, by the way) has warm and fuzzy feelings for Free Dominion. Or more likely vitriolic and caustic feelings towards the people Free Dominion isn't fond of. With him it's more likely the former than the latter.

Not long ago, the folks at Free Dominion opened up for business again on a more limited basis, however they soon launched a fundraising effort to appeal the Warman defamation suit that went to horribly against them.

Now, to be fair, the content of Free Dominion hasn't been as bat-fucking-insane as it had been in the past (relatively speaking of course) perhaps due to certain former regulars no longer posting on the forum. <coughchoughedkennedycough>

And, much to our surprise, we at ARC even found ourselves agreeing with their position on Bill C-51.

We figured that maybe, at least in the short to mid term, they had learned the value of moderation.

And then one of our readers tipped us off to this:

Uhm, who donated $200 to Free Dominion's appeal?

Oh dear.

Winnicki Denied Entry into Mark Steyn Speaking Engagement: Throws Hissyfit

First, our Nazi friends are pretty poor when it comes to math. Thanks to our friend Louis, we were able to read the following on another Facebook profile:

Sure, he was in fourth place, if by that you mean fourth last. As in 11th place.

For those who might wish to give, "Max" (pictured here with Paul Fromm, Tomasz Winnicki, Louis Morin, Dave Ruud and Terry Tremaine) the benefit of the doubt and argue that he might be talking about some of the early returns, that's a no go too. At no time was Winnicki ever better than 10th place as results rolled in.

But we aren't here to rehash the election. Nope, Winnicki is in the news again because he was rejected. Now we're sure that Winnicki has become quite used to being rejected in numerous areas of his life, but this one must really sting.

Fromm and Winnicki: Their Respective Quixotic Campaigns Thus Far

We wonder if Paulie is going to grow jealous of Winnicki?

We reported that Tomasz Winnicki announced on both Stormfront and VNN that he was running for mayor of London. That same day, Paulie made his announcement on Stormfront and his Facebook page that he had filed papers to run in the Mississauga mayoralty race.

So, who's announcement has garnered more media attention? Not Paulie.

Observing Patterns and Drawing Correct Conclusions

Sometimes when we're bored we like to write about the people who have amused us for some reason or other. Over the years we've published articles on the blog we've had one individual who, as a frequent reader, has often tried to rhetorically cross swords with us:

This wide-eyed waif is a young Tomasz Winnicki pictured at a time when he was innocent, hopeful, and had a full head of hair. Eventually Tommy would turn into this:

The years have not been very kind to Tom. Like the boy he was in the first photograph, this nearly 40 year old man-child also still live with his mother and still has difficulty cleaning his bedroom.

Does the term "arrested development" have any meaning, Tommy?

Our long time readers are by this point aware of Tommy and his unjustifiably inflated ego. In short, Winnicki believes himself to be a particularly brilliant chap and that that his ideological foes cower in the face of an obvious intellectual giant. Tommy certainly isn't shy about sharing with others how clever he believes he is:

The above post is based on Winnicki's perception of a discussion found here on the "London Free Press." In the echo chamber that is VNN, there are those who will likely believe that he is "schooling" the folks he describes as anti-racists. Then again, he also thought this was a legitimate argument concerning the recent national elections in Sweden:

We often like to poke Winnicki because.... well.... it's lots of fun. We also know that challenging his intelligence will result in a temper tantrum and Tommy did not fail to disappoint us:

Cobb's Venture in North Dakota Failing (Which Shouldn't Really Be a Surprise)

We don't often turn our gaze south of the border unless there's some link to Canada or to Canadian boneheads. So when Craig Cobb's efforts to turn little Leith, North Dakota into little Bavaria circa 1939 became public, we couldn't help pay attention.

Not long after fleeing from Canada where he held citizenship back to his native United States (Cobb had been charged with violating this country's hate crime laws) Cobb quietly began purchasing property in the small village of Leith, North Dakota. Much of the property was purchased cheaply, in some cases sold by owners who hadn't been to Leith in some time, and it was pretty clear that no one knew who Craig Cobb was nor his motivations. So when it hit the news that Cobb was buying property so that he and other boneheads could move to the village, take over the government, and enact racist bylaws (not to mention naming future parks and buildings after Hitler or infamous American racists) the freakout was more than understandable. He also gave property to a who's who of racists, including Tom Metzger, Alex Linder of VNN, the National Socialist Movement, child pimp April Gaede (at least when it came to her eldest daughter's musical careers, though we can't be certain that she wouldn't have offered them both up to David Lane had the opportunity arose) and Canada's own Paul Fromm (should he accept the offer).

Turns out though the good people of Leith and the surrounding area really don't take a shine to outsiders trying to impose their ideas on them though. Cobb himself lost his job and encouraged his supporters to harass his former employer so he could get his job back (because that is a TOTALLY not crazy and perfectly rational approach to conflict resolutions). Then when convicted felon Jeff Schoep and a few members of his National Socialist Movement gang traveled to Leith to support Cobb, they were met by a much larger counter protest which included Lakota and Dakota warriors.

We gotta tells ya that if we were gamblers, we would  bet on the Lakota or Dakota warrior in a fight with an "Aryan" warrior any day of the week. We mean, even the elders who took their flag and then burned it kicked their asses... albeit figuratively.

Things also haven't helped matters when it was learned that Cobb's residence didn't have sewer or running water. To wash himself he used bottled water and when he wanted to drop a deuce he had to go outside to an outhouse which might be fine if you're staying in a cottage at the lake but it's not so cool when your neighbor is working in her garden next door.

So in other words, they expect to build this....

.... but thus far has only managed to get as far as this:

Hey, Rome wasn't built in a day.

But last week there was finally some good news for Cobb and co. A couple of boneheads and their five children in Oregon had decided to take Cobb up on his offer and move to Leith. The folks at VNN, well, they were over the moon!

The Failure of "Cobbsville" Part V: Misanthropy

By now our readers might need to be reminded why this blog, which almost exclusively focuses on the racist movement in Canada, is paying so much attention to the Craig Cobb fiasco in Leith, North Dakota.

Remember when Cobb, not long after his arrest, said that if the charges were dropped he would not only leave North Dakota, but that he would like to leave the the United States as well?

Guess where it looks like he might want to return to:

Cobb, who during his brief stay in the country back in the 1970s applied for and received Canadian citizenship, might have decided it would be better to face Canadian hate crime charges than up to 35 years in a federal prison in the country of his birth.

We had opined that we were not overly concerned with Cobb's efforts to take over the small village of Leith when we first learned of the effort in August (which isn't to dismiss the stress the poor folks of the town must have been going through). In the end, we knew it was going to crash and burn. Still, even we didn't expect just how epic the failure would be.

We could post all of the screenshots of the infighting, the accusations and counter accusations, and the general sense of despair and anger that is on full display on the White Nations, VNN and Stormfront forums, but instead we'll just direct you to click on the links here, here, here, and here. The reality is that instead of reinvigorating the racist movement with a, "bold new strategy", it has resulted in a massive rift in the movement and exposed those who support and promote the ideology as anti-social misanthropes.

Because you see Craig Cobb isn't the only misanthrope.

"I'm High on Hate": The Mayoral Campaigns of Paulie and Winnicki Winding Down

We haven't written about the sec. 13 case for a while, but the "National Post" ran an article today which stated that the government has withdrawn from the case. Later in the article, mention is made of Paulie and his mayoral campaign in Mississauga:

Paul Fromm, an anti-immigration campaigner who is running for mayor of Mississauga, Ont., indicated his Canadian Association for Free Expression will comment on "the issue of fundamental and unfettered freedom of expression afforded to all individuals in Canada, and in particular, its focus will be narrowed to the right of an individual to free discourse on the Internet."

The day after this week's hearing, Mr. Fromm gave a public lecture to two dozen people about his mayoral campaign, filled with racist and homophobic slurs. He said he has found the local train stations to be "like flippin' Calcutta" and Mississauga itself has been "paved over with ticky tacky houses that are mostly filled with East Indians."

His campaign slogan, borrowed with no apparent irony from the Barbra Streisand-Robert Redford movie, is "The Way We Were," meaning white, he said. He said his primary goal is to move public opinion against immigration.

"I wake up in the morning and I feel great. I'm high on hate," he said, in a conference room at a hotel near Toronto's airport, with white supremacist and Holocaust denial literature on display.

We're not surprised Paulie would be caught with his pants down (so to speak; please try not to picture him with his pants actually down). Paulie has continued to speak at a variety of racist functions, including a recent speech to the Blood & Honour crew in the United States as well as the Council of Conservative Citizens:

All this isn't sitting well with people who oppose sec. 13, but are growing increasingly concerned that Paulie's shameless self-promotion is hurting their efforts:

Over in London, Ontario, Tomasz Winnicki continues his efforts, though in some ways he appears slightly more realistic about his chances of winning based on a note to his potential supporters on his website:

Do not worry about not winning or the temporary disappointment of voting for a candidate you know will not win. What is important are the tasks and work we undertake after the election in order to stop the civilization wreckers, the so-called 'liberals' and 'conservatives' who were wrecking our economy and social structure for decades.

Right. Because a balding, single man living with his parents is just the person who will turn the whole system around.

Recently, Winnicki was pictured standing proudly in front of one of his campaign signs:

Our first thought, somewhat snarky, is whether Winnicki has ever actually talked to a girl before. Our second thought was that we find it amusing that a man with such a low opinion of women would feature one on his campaign sign. Good enough to be eye candy, not good enough as a conversationalist, we guess.

Well, sadly, someone may have taken it upon him or herself to remove the signs or knock them over:

Winnicki posted an email he received from someone purporting to have committed that dastardly deed:

Okay, so it looks like "Caylen" has Winnicki pretty much pegged.

We COULD do what the boneheads do whenever White Supremacist and Nazi graffiti finds its way onto synagogues, community centers, and graveyards; claim that it was actually done by themselves to garner greater publicity and sympathy. But we'll give Winnicki the benefit of the doubt here.

We in ARC don't endorse the damaging and theft of campaign signs. In fact, especially in Winnicki's case, we really, really want those signs all over the place.

What better reminder of the kind of person Winnicki is and why people should not take him seriously than seeing this on your way to work in the morning:

We mean, who could really take Winnicki seriously after seeing this?

On Monday, the elections in Missisuagua, London and Toronto (we haven't forgotten about you, Don Andrews) will take place. We're currently taking bets within ARC on how many votes each candidate receives:

Fromm: The high number is currently at around 650 votes, while the low is 120.
Winnicki: We're looking at between 35 and 110 votes.
Andrews: Since Toronto is a wee bit larger than Mississauga and London, the high number in our pool is 3,500. The low is 330. Most of us think the high number will be way, way off.

It'll be interesting to see the results.

Tom Wants to Be Mayor

No, we're not talking about some new Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim spin-off on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim though we know such a show would be awesome!

In fact we're talking about a man deciding to run for mayor and who may very well be even more unelectable than Don Andrews is in Toronto when he runs for mayor:

White supremacist running for mayor

Last Updated: September 8, 2010 9:43am
An avowed white supremacist who has called himself London's "biggest hater" is running for mayor.

Tomasz Winnicki joined the race Tuesday for the city's top political job, a move that likely holds little political significance for London but will no doubt shock many in the Forest City.

Winnicki's hate speech has been the frequent focus of Free Press reports in the past, and he's been at the forefront of the city's white supremacy movement.

He's appeared at rallies and loaded websites with profanity-laced diatribes about blacks, Jews, other non-whites and non-Christians.

Reached Tuesday night, Winnicki agreed he's a controversial figure.

"Controversial? Absolutely," he said. "(But) anything is controversial now.

Just about anything -- they say this guy's controversial, that guy's controversial.

"You can say that about anybody."

Winnicki, whose Wikipedia profile states he's 35, made dubious history in 2006 when he became the first white supremacist in Canada jailed for breaking a court order to stop posting hate messages online.

The controversy made Winnicki something of a hero to white supremacists across North America.

Winnicki served some time in jail before appealing the sentence.

Canada's human rights tribunal also ordered Winnicki to pay $11.500 in fines and compensation.

There are now 13 candidates for mayor, but observers have noted only two could be considered legitimate contenders: incumbent Anne Marie DeCicco-Best and ex-MP Joe Fontana.

Citizens have until this Friday to file nomination papers to run for mayor or in a ward.

E-mail patrick.maloney@sunmedia.ca, or follow patatLFPress on Twitter.
Sure, there are lots of people who are deemed controversial, but what Winnicki doesn't want to seem to accept is that there's sort of a sliding scale of controversy. For example, in a country that cherishes our particular brand of health care (warts and all), a politician coming out in favor of a, "for profit" system would be deemed controversial in Canada and might have difficulty attracting votes in some parts of the country (though that person might be supported in other parts of the nation). While we wouldn't support such a policy, to make such a policy statement isn't light years away from mainstream political discourse. However, if you believe in deporting non-White Canadians for no other reason than their ethnicity, believe, support and perpetuate anti-Semitic hatred, publicly claimed that men are inherently more intelligent than women, well... you're sort of what we would call a fringe candidate here.
But perhaps we're being too hard on Winnicki. Maybe he has some legitimate ideas worthy of consideration:

Uhm, we're not sure that creating a shadow currency is really in the mandate of municipal government.
Oh, and that's right. It's because they want to censor comments made by your supporters that none were showing up. Yes, that has to be the answer, though we note that you having posted the link on VNN has allowed for your buddies to post their views. Too bad they can't vote.
Oh, how we would LOVE to attend the all candidates' forum!

Southern Ontario Skins: A Cast of Stooges Part VII

It would appear that McKee's Blood & Honour and Hynes' Southern Ontario "Skinheads" have decided to continue their little spat on our blog. Truth be told, we are more than pleased to facilitate their intellectual jousting, though referring to the bluff and bluster as "intellectual" might be to stretch the meaning of the word:

Ah, Max's "crew." On that note, it seems that our previous article in the "stooges" series featuring one of the latest recruits to Max's "crew" has turned out to be quite popular. And one of those who has taken notice is our superfan Tomasz "Still Lives in Mommy's Basement" Winnicki.

Winnicki and Hynes in fact know each other. Both were in attendance at a Pauli anti-immigrant protest back in 2010....

....and Winnicki attended the ill-fated White Pride march organized by Hynes back in 2012. So one might think that because of their ideological views and the fact they both live in the same city that perhaps Hynes and Winnicki support each other.

Well, that may not be the case.

Gun Violence: Reality vs. Perceptions

You would have to be living under a rock to not hear about the tragedy that occurred in Colorado last week when a gunman murdered 12 men and woman (and a child) during the screening of the latest Batman movie. In Toronto, there have also been high profile news stories involving guns in which people have died, including one that occurred at the Eaton's Centre and another at a community block party.

It's natural that people would ask themselves, and aloud, why these terrible events happen. It's also natural to feel for the victims and their families. We want to find solutions that will prevent anyone else from having to feel what must be terrible anguish (this writer lost a loved one as a child and can well understand how the survivors feel). But there is no clear cut solution, no panacea that will make things right. This isn't to say that we shouldn't work to ending violence in our communities, but to warn against the desire for a, "quick fix."

There are individuals, however, who do offer quick fixes.

Don't Worry Marc! Tomasz Winnicki is On the Case!

Sometimes, we just have to sit back, smile, and marvel at the thought process that boneheads undergo when trying to be all strategic and junk. A recent example is Tomasz Winnicki and what we have to imagine must be his unsolicited pro bono work on behalf of Marc Lemire. In this example, Winnicki seems to think he has the case that might prove to be the lynch pin in taking down Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act:

Really? Bobby James Wilkinson? That's your potential star witness?

Sigh.......

Now, for our readers not in the know, you can learn about the Warman v. Wilkinson CHRT decision here, or, what might be more fun, you can read about Bobby's own take on the complaint which he posted to Stormfront not long after the complaint was made:

Sieg Fail. Again.

We had heard rumblings of a rally organized by boneheads aligned to Combat 18 which was to take place today in London, Ontario. There were claims that upwards of 50 members of the violent bonehead gang would show up, a number that was repeated yesterday in the "London Free Press":

Neo-Nazi group plans local protest
Police: Councillor upset

By Joe Belanger The London Free Press
Last Updated: March 11, 2011 9:38pm

Police and city officials are bracing for a protest Saturday by a “violent, neo-Nazi” group outside city hall.

The Free Press has learned upwards of 50 members of the so-called Combat 18 will gather at 1 p.m. Saturday, but it’s unclear of its focus.

October 2014 Bits and Bites: Thanksgiving Edition

As today is a day where people will be getting together to spend time with their loved ones, we thought we would give some attention to those bonehead, who will be spending this day alone, perhaps eating a can of corned beef over the sink while blaming the Jews for their social isolation.

Our first lonely shut-in is Tomasz Winnicki of London who has been mentioned on a number of occasions on this blog.Truth be told, we think he likes the attention since he frequently tries to get our attention. His efforts are usually for naught and that sort of frustrates him a little bit, however we do throw him a bone sometimes. For example, here is one of his comments concerning our posts on the Southern Ontario "Skinheads":

Yeah, in case it's unclear Tomasz is suggesting that he is the worthy opponent we should be engaging. Have we mentioned that he has a very high opinion of his intellect?

Okay, will give you a shot Tom. Call it an audition for the position of our foil. We'll take a look at one of the comments you made on "The London Free Press" concerning the recent election in Sweden to determine if you are a worthy opponent:

Tomasz hearts Shaidle and Lindsay

Looks like Tomasz Winnicki has taken it upon himself to become Kathy Shaidle's press agent. He is again promoting Ms. Shaidle, this time her upcoming recent speaking engagement in London, Ontario (home of Winnicki who proudly boasts of himself as the city's biggest hater) on both VNN and here on Stormfront:

To which "TrueDiversity1488" responds:

Interesting question, isn't it? While the answer is no it's not, we're not sure if this is the kind of crowd we would want to attract at a speech. But hey, if anyone can get a shot of Ms. Shaidle and Mr. Winnicki shaking hands, we will love you forever if you could send it our way.

But Winnicki isn't finished with his volunteerism. Earlier in the week he also promoted a series of upcoming seminars by David Lindsay (or David-Kevin: Lindsay if you prefer):

Hello everyone.

The Tour is HERE!!!
Please see the attached flyers for information and upcoming dates on the most important taxation issue in our Freedom Movement;

Personhood.

Our first stop is in Vancouver on Sat. April 4, 2009, followed by Kelowna on April 18, and Penticton, April 19.

Other dates will be announced shortly!!!
Virtually every statute, especially the Income Tax Act requires that only "persons" are bound by the Act. But just what is a "person" when a man/woman is not included in any definition of this most important term, in any Act, and historically never has?

This tour is the most definitive, educational tour to dispel all circulating myths on this issue, especially in relation to that of a 'Natural Person'.
All gov’t power applies only to “persons” and if you are not a “person” – you are truly free!

This day long seminar will provide documented proof:
L “person” is a term of law, not popular grammar! L of the legal formula to be “person”! L how being a “person” is time-sensitive! L that a man and a "person" are not synonymous;
L judicial admissions that the font on legal documents is used to denote the difference between a man and a "person";
L how this all relates to the promises of Her Majesty the Queen to protect our property and maintain the principles of the Christian religion; L how this all relates to income tax (indeed, all taxes) being voluntary; L how one becomes a "person" and how you can cease and desist being a "person"; L how this all relates to your fundamental and constitutional right to ownership and enjoyment of property; and much, much more! All information being thoroughly documented and supported. Years of legal research and study are finally being released to everyone for all to share.
This is being presented from a perspective of law, not speculation nor assumption.

This will be without doubt the most important seminar you will ever attend!

And who is Mr. Lindsay? Well, here is how his supporters view him and his views on "personhood" and the legality of taxes. And here is how his actual arguments pan out when in court:

Kelowna resident fined and jailed for not filing tax returns

Kelowna, British Columbia, November 26, 2008... Kelowna resident, David Kevin Lindsay, also known as David-Kevin: Lindsay, was sentenced in Kelowna Provincial Court on November 24, 2008, to 150 days in jail and fined $5,000, payable by April 30, 2012. Lindsay was convicted June 26, 2008, of failing to comply with a requirement to file his 1997 to 2001 personal income tax return. Lindsay was also ordered by the court to file these returns by June 30, 2009.

When people are convicted of failing to file tax returns, in addition to any fines imposed by the courts, they must still file the returns and pay the full amount of taxes owing, plus interest owed, as well as any civil penalties that may be assessed by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Individuals who have not filed returns for previous years, or who have not reported all of their income, can still voluntarily correct their tax affairs. Don't you loose a little bit of credibility when you claim that you can not be jailed for failing to pay your taxes, then you're jailed for not paying taxes? At least one of the (slightly more) astute Stormfront members has noted this:

Of course common sense hasn't stopped the true believers, such as Bill Noble, from adding their support:

Truer words have seldom been written, however Noble isn't admitting to his diminished humanity. Rather, the whole concept of "personhood" is tied to Lindsay's rationale concerning the authority of the state over "soverign" citizens. Noble himself has a lot riding on this argument as it is also part of his justification for not abiding by the terms of his release.

When OdinPatrick suggests that Noble might not be being entirely rationale, Noble responds:

So let's get this straight. The proof that Lindsay is correct and that Canadians can not be imprisoned for paying taxes is that Lindsay was imprisoned for not paying taxes in order to shut him up and prevent him from telling everyone the truth?

Bill, if someone from Nigeria sends you an email asking for help getting millions of dollars into an offshore account and says he's willing to pay you a percentage, we suggest you go for it.

This scam is simply part of a larger North American movement of fringe tax protesters. The cases where these arguments have been attempted in the United States provide quite an insight as to their level of success....... nil to none. Or you can read about one of Lindsay's earlier efforts and note the same outcome.

Winnicki Donates to Free Dominion's Warman Appeal: Part III

Well, talk about trying to have your cake and eat it too.

The past two articles posted too the blog have looked at the efforts of the owners of Free Dominion to crowd source their efforts in appealing the Warman judgement. More specifically, our focus was on one particular benefactor:

In our first article we wondered if the fine folks at Free Dominion were aware of who Tomasz Winnicki was and, if made aware, if they would keep the money of a virulent and unapologetic racist and anti-Semite. The second article which dealt with Winnicki's response appeared to have answered these questions, at least in part:

Now there was a possibility that, despite our helpful hint sent through twitter, that the Fourniers were still not aware of who Winnicki was after thanking him for his generous donation (if one were to believe it was Connie who had sent him thanks). It seems though now that they are aware of who Winnicki is and have made a change on the GoFundMe page.

Oh, they haven't returned the money if that, dear reader, is what you're thinking. They've just decided to hide this rather embarrassing fact. Here again is how Tommie's donation appeared on the page before....

.... and here is how it appeared earlier today:

Guest Blogger: Why Racism and Misogyny Go Hand-in-Hand

While many well-intentioned people are concerned about both racism and misogyny, not all are aware that the two are frequently connected. It’s noteworthy that many racists, particularly white supremacists such as Ontario’s shame, Tomasz Winnicki, also display misogynistic traits. As documented previously, Winnicki’s comments about women’s “place” in the world are as disturbing as his white supremacist screeds. It’s not just Winnicki, of course. Despite two centuries of real progress, both racism and misogyny still weave an ugly thread throughout all aspects of modern life. Though arguably under control in the workplace, at least in developed nations such as Canada and the U.S., misogyny and racism pop up in sometimes shocking, newsworthy ways in politics, education, the entertainment world, and of course sports.

In the U.S. in spring of 2014, for instance, Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was taken to task for a blatantly racist remark he made to his (now-ex) girlfriend. But as one observer pointed out on the Thinkprogress.org site, the event was not unique in the sports world, and racism wasn’t the only issue. Wrote Travis Waldron in April 2014, “That’s not to say the racism present in Sterling’s words and history should take a backseat to the sexism that’s there too. But both issues need to be addressed, because the structural problems that allowed Racist Donald Sterling to remain in power aren’t much different from the forces that helped Sexist Donald Sterling stay there too…” Of course Canadian sports are not immune to sexism either, as the Don Cherry incident showed in 2013.

It could be argued that these incidents are mild compared to the vitriol regularly spewed by Winnicki and his ilk. Moreover, whether all instances of sexism can rightfully be called misogyny is a matter for debate, though it is reasonable to say that in a society that embraces egalitarian ideals, sexism at best is a mild form of misogyny. In any case, misogyny and racism are often intimately related. (For example, Elliot Rodger, the infamous Santa Barbara, California shooter, had a history of posting both racist and misogynist screeds on online forums.) Here are three factors that link racism and misogyny and may help shed some light on why so many racists are also misogynists.

1.     An exaggerated fear of “the other.” In her classic book The Second Sex, Simone de Beauvoir framed sexism as men’s objectification of women, their definition of women as “the other.” She argued that the very concept of “woman” is a male construct: “woman is always ‘other’ because the male is the ‘seer’: he is the subject and she the object.” In other words, men are the default gender – “the” sex – and women are “the other” sex. Racism works in much the same way; in the eyes of racists, everyone who doesn’t belong to their race is “the other.” To some extent all humans have a fear or mistrust of those who are “different” in some way. In racist/sexists, however, the fear is greatly exaggerated for a variety of reasons, some of which have to do with innate personality traits (see next item) and some of which are related to family, religious, cultural, or historical influences.
2.     Belief in authoritarianism and hierarchies. According to a 2011 study at the University of the Basque Country in Spain that found a personality link between sexism and racism, sexist/racist people are those who are more likely than most people to approve of strict hierarchies. Study researcher and psychologist Maite Garaigordobil said, “Sexism is linked to authoritarianism and a leaning towards social dominance. In other words, sexist people accept hierarchies and social inequality…they believe that different social groups have a status that they deserve, and they feel that the social class to which they belong is the best.”
3.     Distorted self-image. One might be tempted to assume that racists/sexists display obvious signs of low self-esteem, since low-self esteem can cause people to act more aggressively and to attempt or at least desire dominance. But the Spanish study cited above found almost no relationship between obvious low self-esteem and anti-egalitarian attitudes. Even so, their type of sexism did influence how the sexist people saw themselves, the researchers reported. Study researcher Garaigordobil said, “Men with higher levels of hostile sexism describe themselves using adjectives associated with masculinity, i.e. physically strong, brave, sure of themselves, determined, admirable, etc. Women who display hostile sexism described themselves using characteristics that go against femininity, such as not very cooperative, not very tolerant, not very compassionate and not very sensitive or sentimental.” For the purpose of the study, “hostile sexism” was defined as a dislike of women, whereas benevolent sexism described the view that women are weak and in need of male protection. Study subjects of both genders who scored highly in benevolent sexism described themselves using adjectives associated with femininity, such as “warm” or “friendly.” The point is that even though the misogynists of both genders (and yes, there are female misogynists) didn’t seem – at least on the surface – to have low self-esteem, nevertheless they almost certainly harbored a distorted self-image. One has to wonder how these sexist subjects’ friends and colleagues viewed them, but apparently that wasn’t part of the Spanish study.

If racists are often sexists, conversely many (though not all) people who have historically fought against racism have also been feminists. The abolitionist movement of the nineteenth century gave rise to the first wave of feminism, which focused on basic issues such as women’s right to vote. And in the mid twentieth century the civil rights movement helped spawn the so-called second wave of feminism, which fostered major progress in gender equality.

Unfortunately there will probably always be individuals and organized groups who harbor an irrational hatred for a given group of people – non-whites, women, LGBT people, or people of a given religious faith. But as long as there are those who battle such hatred, there is hope for human progress.

Craig Cobb's Big Plans

Hey, Tomasz. You should pay attention to this story.

You too Paulie.

Cobb in Vancouver not long
after being deported from Estonia
We haven't written a lot about Craig Cobb since his arrest and his subsequent flight from Canada a few years ago, aside from his rather disconcerting effort to get him some lov'n. But Crusty the Cobb has been busy. For starters, he has re-established Podblanc. If our readers need a reminder, Podblanc is sort of the racist version of YouTube. Many of the videos Cobb created and posted to his site were those in which he presented himself as a reporter. He then proceeded to ask questions rife with racial epithets designed not to elicit thoughtful responses but anger from the target (for example, as Rosa Parks' body was lying in state in Washington D.C., Cobb informed visitors waiting in line to pay their respects that she was a, "shitskinned communist" and that he was celebrating Parks death). In fact, Cobb often makes nasty little comments about the appearance of his targets, which makes it rather ironic that he seems so thin-skinned when the roles are reversed:

But that's not all. Cobb has decided to fulfill the wishes of many "White Nationalists" including our own Tomasz Winnicki by attempting to create a bonehead utopia, Turns out a little over a year ago Cobb started buying property in a little North Dakota hamlet:

Paulie? Hmmmm, interesting. Then again it's not as if Paulie and Cobb don't have a history together:

Our readers might have noted that Cobb is banned on VNN. More on that in a future article that we're sure is bound to come up sooner rather than later.

Today, the msm caught wind of the story:
