White Man's March and Canadian Factionalism

You know, we have to admit to having a bit of a soft spot for Sebastian Ronin of the grandiose sounding Renaissance Party of North America. Sure, he's an unjustifiably arrogant bigot with delusions of grandeur, but when he is able to provoke reactions from boneheads such as this particular Rhodes Scholar, one can't help but be just a little appreciative of the work he is doing:

Later, the masked narrator in the above video did a public reading of James Thurber's "The Night the Bed Fell" at the New York Public Library.

Ronin is a bit of a shit disturber. And he's really proud of that notoriety. When the White Man March inevitably failed and the few participant were mocked by.... well.... almost everyone who was even aware of the effort in the first place, Ronin couldn't help saying, "told you so" in as wonderfully dickish a way possible:

There's a lot more to the exchange, but we think this provides the gist of it.

Still, there was at least one Canadian who believes that the event was an unbridled success:

John Beattie, former leader of the Canadian Nazi Party, current spokesperson for the British People's League (which exists solely as a website and YouTube channel), and fading, doddering, relic of a bygone era desperately trying to claim relevancy in a movement that has LONG passed him by, was overjoyed by the "massive" success of the march. Still, one has to keep in mind that he also has spoken of the avalanche of interest in his efforts as evidenced by the fact that his, "youtubes" have been watched by dozens of people. Still, Beattie was disappointed that there was no march held in Canada, though he didn't know at the time that there were in fact two marches.

Southern Ontario Skinheads Gone Walkabout in Kingston

On March 15, boneheads around North America participated in an event called, "The White Man's March." Well, "participated" might not be an accurate description of what happened on that day. What might be a more accurate description is that a lot of boneheads talked about participating in, "The White Man's March" in their respective communities but ultimately did nothing.

Yeah, it was sort of a HUGE failure, though the boneheads would have you believe that is was really a HUGE success.

One group that participated in the event was our friends in the Southern Ontario Skinheads who traveled to Kingston, Ontario. Wes Smith was ever so kind as to provide some photos:

They apparently spent time flyering and acting brave when members of the Kingston Police Service asked them what they were up to.

Now, as this event occurred a few days ago, our dear readers might be asking us why we are so slow to update the blog. That's a fair question and deserves a an answer.

The reason why we haven't mentioned it until now is because we were trying to figure out who attended based on the shitty photo they provided (really, SOS members take terrible pictures):

Paul Fromm Goes to Bat For.... Michelle Erstikaitis???: Part VIII - Fromm Doesn't Understand How Prison Works

Back in June 2013, Wes Smith of the Toronto chapter of the Creativity Movement interviewed an individual who was brought to our attention by Paul Fromm who INSISTED that her legal troubles were as a result of her "White Nationalist" political views and not because she was a violent sociopath. We include a few excepts of that interview below:

But we do digress:

Not all that surprisingly, there are a lot of boneheads who remain confused as to why Paulie has taken on Erstikaitis' cause and not all of them are as... we'll say as forgiving, as Paulie is:

But Paulie has achieved some success in bringing Erstikaitis into the White Nationalist fold. She certainly seems to have been accepted by Paulie supporter Wes Smith and she had been attending a number of White Nationalist events, including a Doug Christie memorial (where she stood alongside Malcolm Ross and Marc Lemire), an event to support Brad Love, and a protest in front of the South African consulate in Toronto organized by professional Geppetto impersonator Sebastian Ronin.

Some of our more astute readers may have noticed, however, that Michelle Erstikaitis has been really quiet lately which, given her seemingly constant need to be the center of attention in some way, might strike one as a bit odd. Well there's a very good reason for that. Not long after her interview with the Toronto Creativity Movement, this request of the public was issued:

What does it say about ol' Sebastian here that he continually "likes" his own posts on Facebook?

Yep, Craig Cobb has pleaded guilty to one charge of felony count terrorizing (along with a firearms ban) in exchange for the other five terrorizing charges being reduced to misdemeanors. The reality is, and it's a shame it happened because we think the case against Cobb was a strong one, that a plea might have been necessary if Cobb was to face any sort of punishment. The case was undercut by a few individuals in Leith as well and the village's webmaster who acted in a way that was.... shall we say counterproductive? Yes, counterproductive works here.  In the end, this case is as much a lesson on how not to act when dealing with boneheads such as Cobb as it is in how to fight them.

But it also looks like Cobb, who thought he was getting out of jail that day, might be cooling his heels a little bit longer than he though. When he fled Canada after his arrest on hate crime charges, Cobb thought he was pretty clever and bragged about his "escape." It would seem that "escape" has come back to bite him in the as now:

Instead of accepting a plea agreement, South Central District Judge David Reich ordered a presentence investigation and deferred the matter until he gets that report. He said he wants to know more about the hate crimes charge that Cobb fled in Canada and the terrorizing incident.

That report could take weeks, up to another month, so Cobb was escorted from the Burleigh County Courthouse back to the Stanton jail, where he’d optimistically packed up and signed out earlier in the day.

We hadn't planned on writing another entry in our Cobbsville series, however the following brief message was left in the comments section of Part V:

We can't disappoint our fans now can we?

Since our last post on the subject Craig Cobb (who having shaved and gotten a haircut is looking far less like Krusty the Kobb now) begun....

.... and concluded a hunger strike. Had his bail set at over a million dollars which he could not pay and then set at a much lower amount which he still could not pay (we wonder why his "millionaire" friend, the convicted sex offender who founded and runs the White Nations forum, can't seem to help Cobb out)....

 
....pathetically begged for the charges against him be dropped on the promise he would leave North Dakota forever, sold a number of the properties he purchased in Leith, and had his most trusted ally turn against him in return for agreeing to testify against Cobb.

In short, Cobb appears to be hooped.

Now are readers know that as a result of living in Canada for 5 years a number of decades ago, Craig Cobb was able to apply for and receive Canadian citizenship. But except for those 5 years and the couple of years he lived in Vancouver after being deported from Latvia, his fidelity to this nation might be somewhat in question.

So, how have our home-grown boneheads reacted to the Craig Cobb saga in North Dakota:

The Failure of "Cobbsville" Part II: Cobb and Dutton Taken Into Custody

Well, that was fast.

When we started what we planned as a three part series, we hadn't anticipated this happening so suddenly.

Claiming they had been the victims of a number of crimes, Craig Cobb and Kynan Dutton decided to begin armed patrols of the town. As one of the other members was putting up a surveillance system with help from a friend (the Leith website administrator), they were approached by an armed Cobb and Dutton along with Dutton's partner:

The Failure of "Cobbsville" Part I: The DNA Conundrum

We know that Craig Cobb is in the United States and that we don't usually focus on events south of the border, but owing to Cobb's unfortunate connection to Canada (the citizenship he seems to have gained some time in the 1970s) we couldn't help but pay attention to his efforts to turn little Leith, North Dakota into a, "wretched hive of scum and villainy."

Things are not going well at all for Cobb and his supporters though because really no one is coming. Well, there are a tiny few who heeded his call, but we'll discuss that in a later post.

It's so bad that he's taken to encouraging the cream of the crop from America's penal system to make their way to Leith upon release:

But really, this is just one example of the collapse of Cobb's dream. We plan on rather gleefully documenting that collapse in three posts of the coming days.

And with that, let's just get right to the point.

Paulie and (Southern Ontario Skin Member) Yordi Sitting In A Tree....

Before we get the the reason for this post, we have to thank Paul Fromm. You see Paulie has been very generous regarding some of the gifts he's been giving us lately. For example, there's this little gem from a week or two back:

Hitler as Jesus. Seems a little blasphemous for someone who claims a devout Christian and which I'm sure would be offensive to a lot of people for a whole lot of reasons. But maybe we aren't being fair? Some of the words have been cut off. Perhaps there's a reasonable explanation?

Uhm, nope. But it does hit all the bonehead themes. Accusing the Jews of deicide, deification of Hilter, and denying the Holocaust while at the same time accusing Jews of being liars, all wrapped up in the abysmal spelling, punctuation and grammar we've come to know and love.


But we digress.

In a previous post we noted that Paulie had a new Facebook friend:

Paulie Goes to Bat For Craig Cobb

So it seems the revelation that fugitive, neo-Nazi (er.... we mean Creator), bonehead, and all around douchebag Craig Cobb has his sights set on transforming a small North Dakota hamlet into his own little  Bergof isn't sitting well with the good folks of the state or his employer. Or, we should say ex-employer. Word is that Cobb has lost his job. Now given his tendency to shoot his mouth off, we suspect that his claims of being a model employee are a little self-serving. And despite his claim that he was fired for his political and/or religious beliefs, we also suspect that creating a hostile work environment for the non-white employes isn't necessarily a freedom of conscience issue.

Though that hasn't stopped Paulie from giving Cobb a platform:

So, referring to Craig Cobb, a man who wants to create a memorial park named after Hitler and install a Panzer tank in honor of the Nazi Wehrmacht AND who espouses an ideology of racial superiority and genocide that actually might be even more extreme than the actual Nazi Party as a neo-Nazi is a smear?



Paulie then proceeds to post an open letter written by Cobb urging supporters to action. It has been redacted for reasons that will be obvious:

Right. Because encouraging boneheads, some of whom will without a doubt threaten the former employer with some sort of physical retribution, is a great way to get your job back.

And asking a who's who of American boneheads, fascists, neo-Nazis, and.... well, suffice it to say one will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Well, perhaps Paulie is just protecting his investment? Cobb has offered him land in the future "Cobbville." Not sure if it is on Rudolf Hess Ave. or next to Matt Hale Park though.

Don Andrews: Nothing If Not Persistent

Summertime and the livin' is easy!

We have to admit that the blog has not be a primary focus for our members. Life has gotten in the way in the best possible way and we've been just having way too much fun. As such we really haven't been interested in allowing the miserable excuses for humanity that we cover here to harsh our mellow.

Then, this evening, one of our members doing a pretty routine check of bonehead websites noticed this on the Nationalist Party of Canada's website:

And, as is clear by the following article, we weren't the first to catch this brainfart by the city of Regina:

The city agreed to a request by the Nationalist Party of Canada to proclaim a week in Oct. "European Heritage Week"CBC News  Posted: Aug 20, 2013 6:47 PM CST 

The mayor of Regina has cancelled a proclamation to declare a week in October "European Heritage Week" after he says he was fooled by a white supremacy group. 

The group called Nationalist Party of Canada put in a request in July.

Michelle Is Still Trying Too Hard

Michelle Erstikaitis and her "friends" responded to an article in which we questioned her "White Nationalist" bona fides. Our argument is that she basically latches on to anything that will result in her getting some sort of publicity, something that we admit to being complicit to.

But among the more interesting claims Erstikaitis made was that she was buddies with unnamed federal ministers as well as Rob Ford. And we don't mean acquaintances or someone who happened to show up to a photo op. No, she's on a first name basis with the mayor.

A few months ago she posted the following which we presume serves as evidence for her close connection to Mayor Ford:

Well then! A personally signed letter of thanks from the mayor himself. We guess that proves us wrong and Michelle is friends with Rob Ford.

But maybe someone could help us out here because the signature above looks exactly like this signature. And this one. And a lot of other form letters that we were able to find online.

July 2012 Bits and Bites: Paul Fromm Edition

Not surprisingly, Paulie and his cohorts are quite pleased about the demise of Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act:

But as happy as Paulie and company are, even he realizes that there are still a couple of sticking points. As Paulie notes:

Ford Family Member Connected to KKK in 1980s

Remember this photo?

It recently appeared on "The Daily Show" earlier this week. This is Toronto mayor Rob Ford with Jon Latvis, founding member of the racist band RaHoWa with ties to the Heritage Front, Creativity Movement, and violent racists. We found this photo and sent it to Warren Kinsella by way of a friend, and long story short, it created a bit of a minor scandal. Latvis himself claimed he was not racist and in fact had been fooled by RaHoWa. He further threatened to sue (including a direct message) Kinsella, however Latvis seemed unaware of how the Internet actually worked and that he had left a very long record of his active and enthusiastic involvement with organized racism. And to his friends who might have been concerned about his public rejection of racism and antisemitism, he offered this as an explanation:

At the time ARC suggested that this incident was just yet another in on a long, long, list of poor judgement calls made by Ford and his team and that he was likely not sympathetic to National Socialism. We generally still believe this to be true, though given other statements he might generously be considered to be rather bigoted. However, as a result of the current scandal (and you would have to be living under a rock to not know what we are referring to) we've learned that at least some of his immediate family were active to a degree in the racist movement in Canada. The relevant section in a "Globe & Mail" article alleging the some members of the Ford family have had a long history of being involved in the drug trade details Rob Ford's sister's involvement with members of the KKK and Heritage Front:

Southern Ontario "Skinheads": Who's Who?

It isn't a surprise that the boneheads read this blog. In fact, since we were the only media that even wrote anything about their little march in London last weekend, some have been paying close attention:

While we didn't see any evidence that Winnicki attended the march, we thought that it was time to take a look at those individuals who are known to have attended (both SOS members and their supporters) as well as some of support that didn't make it to this event.

Paul Fromm, the London March, and the Fine Art of Turd Polishing

First, let us begin by stating if the boneheads in London, ON wish to hold another march and rally in the same manner that they did yesterday, we unreservedly support their efforts.

No, really.

We will explain, but first we should note that Paulie provides his account of the march yesterday:

London, Ontario: Today's Bonehead March in Perspective

They had been planning this for a while (goodness knows they had to make up for the disaster that happened last year) and though we expected it soon, we didn't know when it was going to happen. But today, Max Hynes and others associated with the Southern Ontario Skinheads (as well as Paul Fromm) held a march and rally in London, Ontario.

But there were not any dramatic confrontations despite the claims of the boneheads they would, "smash" the anti-racists next time they met.

As one of our friends noted, they decided to keep the march and rally a secret, then rallied in front of a closed government building and empty street while most people were at home eating dinner. And all the while, most had their faces covered.

"White Pride" indeed.

We were sent a link to the following video on YouTube. It is a presentation from August 17, 2012 by Edwin Hodge concerning white supremacy in the digital age.



Overall, this was a very well done presentation. Any issues we have are relatively minor:

• "88" does not refer to Hitler's birthday, but is the numerical symbol for "Heil Hitler."
• The photo of the 2011 police raid is not of the Calgary-based Blood & Honour faction, but the Hammerskin-aligned faction in British Columbia.
• The hategroup, "BC WHITE PRIDE" disappeared in large part because of the work of the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations.

Overall though, the presentation was pretty solid and reinforces our message that we do need to be concerned about white supremacists because of the violence much of the membership engages in.

Paulie Shows His Hand on Section 319

Well, it's not as if we didn't know this already.

When the Conservatives voted to remove Sec. 13 from the Human Rights Act, they justified it in part because of the existence of Section 319 of the Criminal Code (in layman's terms, the hate crimes law) which they claimed was more appropriate when dealing withe issue of extremist rhetoric. They even stated they planned on strengthening the existing legislation.

All this might be true, but Paulie has a new target in his sites:

Paul Fromm Visits Craig Cobb in Montana

In an article we re-posted concerning the Canada wide arrest warrant for Craig Cobb, a request was made by the RCMP:

Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call their local police detachment, said Mounties.

He's in Kalispell, Montana. He's been active there for some time in fact.

Easy, right? After all that's where he has repeatedly said he was living. But if the RCMP doesn't wish to take our word for it, they could get in touch with Paul Fromm who met with and interviewed Cobb earlier this week:
